I have to wonder where this "drama teacher" myth originated. He was primarily a math teacher. Also, was he a snowboard instructor or a ski instructor? Skiing is the highest level of human endeavour, thus you are elevating him far above any position like PM.

Skiing is the highest level of human endeavor?  Puh-leeze!

One cannot hate Trudeau unless one is so enmeshed in political theology one cannot perceive reality. Trudeau hasn't enough personality to engender hatred in rational people...or support. One could easily develop a hatred of Trump...but it would be a waste of energy.

Look no further than the Liberal party for that myth. He taught, drama, French and math at a private school as a supply teacher for one school year. That is the total sum of his wokr career other than as a politician. You want to call a prt time ski instruction a job uh yah.

He received a BA at McGill and a B.Ed at UBC then flunked out of two graduate programs in  engineering  and then geography.  The Liberal party focused on his drama to offset his two failed attempts at graduate schools.

A superior, smart leader wouldn't have made all those successive fiasco with SNC-Lavalin!   What?   Is group-toke all they do at the PMO?

And, a superior, smart leader wouldn't be caught dead performing like a monkey, in exchange for trade!  Lol.   All he needs is an organ-grinder!

If you think Trudeau is superior and smarter - boy, what does that say about you?

How did you get into Waldo's private film collection?

Ah come on. We've had worse politicians before. What's all the fuss about?

Lol.  Looks like Jason Kenny wasn't kidding at all.

Kenney noted that Trudeau served as opposition critic while he was immigration minister — a tenure where the Liberal MP came under fire for saying comments "off the top of [his] head."

"I know Justin. He doesn't have a clue what he's doing. This guy is an empty trust-fund millionaire who has the political depth of a finger bowl," Kenney told Bell.

"He can't read a briefing note longer than a cocktail napkin, O.K."

We've seen the proof!  The proof is in the pudding!

We can't have someone like Trudeau  continue wrecking the country!  If Liberals love him for his looks and his drama - get the liberals produce his film, or something.   Give him a sitcom!

I can't help but notice - for all of Trudeau's gab about more women in politics, here is something glaring:

WHERE HAVE ALL THE FEMALE PREMIERS GONE?

lol.  They're all gone with the wind!  Most, if not all of them, got only one term!

Quote

Political observers may have believed those interpretations were a thing of the past when surveying the list of Canada's first ministers in 2013, which included Christy Clark in B.C., Alison Redford in Alberta, Kathleen Wynne in Ontario, Pauline Marois in Quebec, Kathy Dunderdale of Newfoundland and Labrador, and Eva Aariak in Nunavut.

One by one, however, those women found themselves out of office and sometimes out of politics altogether.

The reasons behind their defeats, Thomas said, shed light on the paradoxes at play among Canadian voters.

Geneviève Tellier, a political studies professor at the University of Ottawa, said many of the other women may have fallen victim to a phenomenon known as the "glass cliff," in which leaders are propelled to positions of authority at a time of crisis within their organizations only to lose the helm when the outlook improves.

Tellier said that while some won an initial election and most vied for re-election, not one succeeded in being returned to office.

Who voted them out?  Just shows you - it isn't about gender, Justin.  It shouldn't be.

I don't hate anyone but I do dislike Trudeau intensely, maybe because sunny ways are now scummy ways.  The term 'hate' is flung around too wildly these days, just as 'racist' etc. is.

So you liked "sunny ways"?

There is no excuse to hate anyone. I am disappointed by the Prime Minister, and I won't vote for him again, but I don't hate him. I hate certain ideologies such as communism, or national socialism, but I don't hate communists. I've never met a Nazi so I can't say. I don't like certain ideologies such as Social-Credit (Reform) and republicanism, but I don't hate them.

Prime Minister Trudeau revealed himself to be all show and no substance. My disillusion came as a result of the SNC affair which led me to take a critical look at everything else he does. My impression is they (the PM and the PMO) make decisions without thinking them through. I hate to admit it but he is just not ready.

The PMO makes decisions to benefit the Party politically, NOT to govern with integrity.

So it has always been ...

Trudeau would make a better president than Trump. Trump is running a deficit 7 times higher per capita than Trudeau. Trudeau is close to balance, where Trump is off the charts. The whole Trump economy is based on bogus borrowing.

Do the math. Look at the 2017-2018 Canadian deficit vs the 2017-2018 America deficit. Adjust for currency and adjust for population.

Trudeau should could teach Trump a lesson in fiscal-responsibility.

Hardly anybody understands numbers, because they force-fed calculus, when they should be giving students lessons in finance.

Everybody knows that Justin Trudeau is the Prime Minister thanks largely to his last name. I personally don't hate the man but I think he's pretty shallow and a narcissist as well. I haven't seen any evidence so far that says he up to the job. He's a drama queen, always playing to the cameras. He often behaves like a typical stupid celebrity.

We have also seen that JT has a temper and he clearly is used to getting his own way. He has no qualms about throwing female members of his party under the bus if they don't bow to his demands. He's certainly lacking in integrity.

What on earth do people see in him?

He is a failure and if it was not for the trust fund he would be in big trouble. The boy is not smart. I could not run a country and neither can he. And he is not that good looking, the problem is people believe everything they read about the boy. And the fact he lied to every canadian and thinks he is fooling us all.

Meow. Anyone who’s been PM can’t really be called a failure by ordinary Joe standards and ‘not that good looking’? Really? Exactly how demanding are you in that department? I’d happily swap physiques with him right now and if there was a woman in my life I’m sure she’d concur.

In some ways Trudeau is a more modest Canadian version of the Trump phenomenon. A photogenic minor celebrity before entering politics and from a wealthy family, he dispensed with the long apprenticeship we usually expect from aspiring leaders. Let’s hope our parliamentary system pushes back against this trend. For the record, I preferred Garneau until that guy almost put me on a Max 8 with his dithering.

And I’m pleasantly surprised that the ‘hate’ bait wasn’t taken by posters. In a humdrum, safe, well run country like Canada, we shouldn’t hate politicians of any stripe. They are generally doing their best in a very difficult line of work. Irritation is about as much as one should feel.

Its the sense of utter hopelessness that really penetrates. Venting takes the edge off but then the next news cycle comes on.   I'm getting better at letting it go, I think. I'm trying anyway.

Thinking about voting Green makes me feel better.
