Activating SSL in the Forums

Recommended Posts

I will be activated SSL in the forums today.  This just means that information will be encrypted between your browser and the server.

This may cause some issues, so if you encounter any issues, please post the issue in the support section of the forums.

Nice job.  That's one of the best things you've done for the site.  With being in IT for so long, there is such a risk with sites that are not HTTPS that will help against hackers, attackers and other shenans, but won't stop spam (not much can).

The activation of SSL is complete!

Sorry for the delay, but there were a few hiccups that required a few config changes before it would work 100% of the time.

You will no longer get the "insecure website" warnings in your browser every time you log in now.
