The GeoStorm That Could Be Brewing For Stormy

Recommended Posts

The sad saga of Stormy Daniels could end up with her, facing lawsuits....and even criminal charges (along with her lawyer).

Her former manager is speaking through her own lawyer.  Trump's lawyer, Cohen, is speaking through his (Cohen's) own lawyer......and Story's former lawyer is saying that the accusations of Stormy about being pressured to sign the non-disclosure deal, is not accurate.

https://www.cnn.com/2018/03/26/politics/5-revelations-in-stormy-daniels-interview/index.html

What does that imply when people start talking through their lawyers?

Furthermore.....somebody (most likely a conservative-leaning media), is going to put pressure on Daniels to release her former lawyer from the attorney/client privilege -  what the former lawyer has to say, is more fodder to keep this drama going. Anyone getting damaged by Stormy Daniels will want to hear what the former lawyer has to say!

What - unbiased - media, wouldn't?

By the looks of all that's been implicated in this saga - at the end of the day, it will be Daniels (and her lawyer), who'll end up being on trial (by the media......and for real).

I think.....from what I've been reading from this article posted below, Cohen is giving Daniels some fair warning when he asked that she cease and desist.  Apparently, she (and her lawyer) can be facing some serious crimes.

Remember the dvd that was shown,  with Avenatti's tweet,  "If “a picture is worth a thousand words,” how many words is this worth?????"

Uh.....maybe....... it'll be worth two words!  CRIMINAL CHARGES.

That DVD could be worth a lot of criminal trouble for this pair, if it happens to be a tape.

Quote

California law strictly forbids someone from taping another without their knowledge or consent. California Penal Code section 632 criminalizes any person who “without the consent of all parties” records their activity. California Penal Code 637.2 specifically authorizes a private suit, with a treble-damages award. All that is required is for the injured party to show they did not consent and that they had a “reasonable expectation” no recording was taking place. Ask the Gawker jury how jurors feel about the disclosure of private tapes.

https://lawandcrime.com/high-profile/did-stormy-daniels-lawyer-implicate-himself-or-his-client-in-a-crime/

Quote

The second potential crime would be if the tape shows sexual activity. California Penal Code 647(j) makes secretly recording sexual activity a crime, labelling it an “invasion of privacy.” Here, too, Avenatti led many to believe his client committed the crime, by broadcasting the DVD to the world, and implied it was proof of an affair.

https://lawandcrime.com/high-profile/did-stormy-daniels-lawyer-implicate-himself-or-his-client-in-a-crime/

Quote

The third potential crime is if the tape was ever publicly disclosed, known as nonconsensual disclosure of recorded sexual activity, otherwise known as “revenge porn.” California Penal Code 647(j)(4) separately criminalizes such conduct even when the original tape was consensually recorded. Hence, claiming Trump agreed to the taping of the activity (highly unlikely) is no defense to this separate crime.

This is most likely politically motivated.

Quote

Additionally, Avenatti’s potential political motivation to put hurting Trump over helping his client would be exposed in any potential suit or prosecution.

As was publicly reported, in both college and law school Avenatti worked at a political opposition and media firm, The Research Group, run by Rahm Emanuel, the Chicago Mayor who once worked in President Obama‘s administration.

He was asked about this during the 60 Minutes interview, and scoffed it off as activity from decades ago.

Has Avenatti committed potential malpractice?

California law likely governs any issues in the case as Avenatti himself has acknowledged California law governs in his own Daniels’ lawsuit.

Avenatti himself took key actions in the case.

In 2012...Michael Avenatti had lost a big case.

Quote

Michael Avenatti, the adrenaline-fueled lawyer taking on President Trump

Manuel Roig-Franzia

A court in New Jersey had reversed a $41 million verdict he’d won against the accounting giant KPMG in a case involving allegations of massive auditing fraud. Avenatti, who thought of himself as the “KPMG Killer,” had missed the earlier-than-expected birth of his first daughter while doing depositions in the case on the opposite coast; he’d burned through $3 million in out-of-pocket expenses, and his firm stood to gain somewhere in the neighborhood of $16 million in legal fees.

Now he would get nothing.

“Ninety percent of lawyers who had taken one on the chin like that, they’d be done,” Avenatti said last week over coffee at a luxury Central Park hotel.

Quote

Avenatti, now 47, won’t say how he ended up representing Daniels beginning about six weeks ago.

The article above was taken from  the Washington Post (for some reason, the link won't get pasted).

Why the secret how he ended up representing Daniels?

Gawker Media was mentioned above.  Remember Hulk Hogan's settlement?

Quote

Faced with a $140 million judgment in the invasion of privacy lawsuit brought by Hogan over the publication of a video that showed him having sex with a friend’s wife — and the later revelation that Peter Thiel, the billionaire Silicon Valley entrepreneur, was financing the lawsuit and others against the company — Gawker filed for bankruptcy in June and ultimately sold itself in August to Univision for $135 million.

Gawker Media was not the only casualty. Mr. Denton, who was also a defendant in the lawsuit, filed for personal bankruptcy in August, saying, “I don’t have that kind of money lying around.” Mr. Bollea’s lawyers also pursued money from another defendant, Albert J. Daulerio, the former editor in chief of Gawker.com.

https://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/03/business/media/gawker-hulk-hogan-settlement.html

Quote

Background:

In 2006, Bollea was having sex with Heather Clem while being videotaped; at trial he claimed that the videotaping was without his knowledge or consent.[12] On The Howard Stern Show, Hogan told Stern that he had slept with Heather with Bubba Clem's blessing and his encouragement because he was so burnt-out from the trauma of his coming divorce that he finally gave in to the "relentless" come-ons from Heather who "kept going down that road." Bollea said that he knew that Clem had "an alternative lifestyle" and that he had stopped by their house "just to say hello" when Heather tempted him.[13] Bollea later testified: "I was depressed. I gave up and gave in. I felt that those people loved me."[12]

Bubba testified that he burned the video to a DVD, wrote "Hogan" on it, and put it in a desk drawer.[14]

On October 4, 2012, Gawker editor A.J. Daulerio published a two-minute extract from the 30-minute video, including 10 seconds of explicit sexual activity.[15]

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bollea_v._Gawker

He sued his friend Bubba, but settled for a merely $5,000.

I just read this on one of my favorite websites RightEdition about this possible lawsuit against Stormy and her lawyer. Her lawyer may have screwed things up big time now just for some fame. This constant anti-Trump attacks has gotten way out of hand. These endless attacks and mockings of Trump has to stop. The liberal/democrats/MSM and their constant lies against Trump has gone to far. The more these losers keep playing this silly childish stupid game the more they really do start to look like a bunch of mental idiots. Every month they always come out with something new and stupid to try and make Trump look like they now have something on him or just try to make him look bad again. They always screw up because they are nothing more than a bunch of losers. One can only hope that the democrats go nowhere in the midterm elections. If Trump thinks he has it bad now I wonder how bad it will get for him if the Republicans do not do so great in the election.

Here's another lawyer's pov:

Quote

In the wake of Daniels’ interview with “60 Minutes,” attorney Kyle Bristow argued that Trump had a case to sue Daniels for so-called “specific performance” and pursue liquidated damages. According to Bristow, the agreement went into effect when Daniels received the money and could be enforceable against her.

“If she’s out doing interviews, clearly that’s a violation of the agreement,” Bristow said, “and I don’t think the First Amendment applies... People have the right to enter into agreements whereby their rights are waived.”

White said if he were advising Daniels, he would tell her to “keep in mind what her goal is.”

“If her goal is chaos and notoriety and money, then this is the right way to go about it,” he said. “If her goal is to win in court, then this sort of thing will not please most judges.”

No wonder Stormy was offering to return the money.

How anyone with at least an ounce of brains would want to listen to that liberal loser is beyond me. These late night fools do not have much to talk about or have anything funny to say. And what is even worse is the fools that go to his shows and listen to is nonsense foolish talk. The good old days of Johnny Carson and Jay Leno are gone. Those two at least had class, this Colbert guy is an ass. My opinion. :D

Good, she should return the money. She broke her agreement with Trump to keep her mouth shut. The dumb blond doesn't seem to realize that the MSM is just using her for their purpose and because of it she may have to give that money back. She fits that old saying "what a dumb blond". She has shown us all as to just how dumb she can be.

The lying liberal media will soon put her on the back burner once they finally realize that this story won't do anything to try and bring Trump down and she is not needed anymore. It will be on to another story where they once again can try to trash Trump. I scratch my head in amazement as to just how retarded this MSM really is. Those so-called journalists really do need help big time. They are on the verge of totally losing it.

That's the sad part.

What I see is an ageing ex-porno actress trying hard to make something big out of this. $130,000 must seem peanuts to her now, after someone planted the dreamy idea of of publishing a book, speaking engagement fees, and maybe guest appearances....and who knows, maybe even movie roles.  Maybe she thinks Trump might give her more to shut her up.

It's like blackmail, huh?

Money?  Fame?  She's got her own angle.

When the MSM comes out with a story like this one you know that is has to be a story full of it. No matter how much the MSM tries to make Trump look bad the MSM lose every time. They cannot seem to get it that they once again are just making asses of themselves. Anybody who believes what the MSM says at all these days has to be one heck of a fool. Sadly, there are so many mindless fools out there that are quite happy and contented to listen to the MSM and get their daily bread of propaganda and bull chit. So sad.

Her blackmail will be whitewashed. All this woman has done is made a fool of herself with the help of the MSM. What some people won't do to try and make fools of themselves.

I think part of the problem with the liberal media and Trump is they all dream of sleeping with a porn star - Trump actually did/does it.  They don't seem to understand that every time they parade her double Ds in front of the camera, every redneck in the country is thinking "The Donald is The Man".  I can see a second term coming along nicely.

Of course, it's like tabloid news.  Sensational ones makes for better ratings.  Wasn't Colbert also the one who went to the same hotel in Russia?   Colbert's rating went up since  he started covering Trump.

Also.......people who gorged on "Me-too," are ready to puke.   I mean, digging up bones from decades ago, isn't so nice anymore.

Daniels' statement has the ring of truth when she insists:  I'm not a victim.  You got that right.

Men are beginning to look like the victims......

Let me also chime in and blame the media for reporting on the president having a nondisclosure agreement with a porn star with whom he had an affair. How is a president being compromised in this way even news? Would the right wing have violated Bill Clinton's privacy in this way if he did something like this? It's a clear case of MSM bias!

How is it not news? It’s true and of great interest to the public.

The only thing relevant is if there was a pay-out right before the election that violated certain pre-election laws. Other then that, who someone screws is not an issue unless you or anyone can show me it presented a security breach.

In Trump's case his current wife  can we be serious and I am being serious was a high priced East Euro escort with direct ties through her father to the KGB.

That compromised Trump long ago. The fact she is a transexual who spanks him I don't care.

I don't care that Michelle Obama was a man, that Barak was gay, that Clinton had a curved penis he could not keep in his pants, that Hilary is a dyke.

When Hilary decided to compromise herself with her alleged "second" daughter it was evident she was a Saudi spy. Its evident George Bush Sr. had affairs, his son had affairs, even Nixon the cold fish had an affair. The question is when they have sex do they compromise state security. If they don't, mind yer own business I say.

As for Justin if anyone does not think he will announce he is transitioning soon good luck to you. I predict prior to the next election he will announce that. I don't care. He can't dance.

They impeached Clinton?

I agree though, the MSM loves to pretend it's above tabloids, but it's the same shit.

I'm more interested in Trump's business deals with foreign actors and how that influences his decision making. This is similar to the Clintons and the Clinton foundation, but at a much bigger scale.

I bet if we were in the Clinton years right now, Betsy would be all over the Monica Lewinsky story and asking for Clinton's head.

Clinton was impeached but not convicted and removed. In the U.S. it's a two-step process.

Let's be fair to both parties. This is Trump's "Bimbo eruptions" to quote Bill Clinton.

Here's another one who wants to get back on the spotlight:

Quote

According to Drake, she and Daniels met the future president earlier that day and was later invited to his hotel room a third woman, where Trump allegedly proceeded to kiss them and ask questions.

"Well, we were ushered into the room,” Drake said. “And I remember he was wearing pajamas. And he kissed all of us on the lips and kind of, you know, one of those real close, full-body contact hugs. I do believe 100 percent that he was vetting us to see which one or how many of us he liked.”

The women left, Drake says, but she later received a call inviting her back to the hotel room. When she refused, someone who worked for Trump called her back to offer her $10,000 to return, she claims.

Drake, whose real name is Angel Ryan, says she refused again but Daniels, her friend told her later, went back to Trump’s room on her own.

"I relayed my experience to her,” Drake said of Daniels. “Like, what happened with me after we left the room. At the time that I relayed that experience to her, I didn't yet know of her experience -- until she said, ‘He didn't offer to pay me.’”

Quote

Meanwhile, Daniels has not mentioned Drake in interviews about the alleged affair -- nor did she mention being in Trump's room with other women. Daniels' lawyer, Michael Avennati, did not comment to ABC News about Drake's account.

http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/porn-star-stormy-daniels-telling-truth-alleged-trump/story?id=54651663

Drake had to be invited twice (and, offered money).....whereas Daniels went back on her own.    It seems like another way of saying, "look, I was more desirable than Daniels -  Trump wanted me -  look what Trump did to get me to come."

Boy, I'm thinking........is this being catty, or what?
