hot enough
Are warning points just surreptitiously added to one's Profile page?

No. Warning points are added when you get a warning. HINT: The warning is more important than the point.

The warnings are visible to members in 2 places: 1) on your profile page, the next line below where the warning points are displayed 2) among your personal messages MOD BIAS: If a member can see the warning points, then that same member SHOULD be able to see the warning associated with the points. Yes, I happene to notice them by accident on my profile page, after noticing something on another poster's profile page. I don't even know where "personal messages" are. I can't recall having any personal messages with anyone on this site, ever.

You know when you asked, why should we ever want to give you an up-arrow, +1 love points? This is one of those times...

There should be a list there of the threads you have been involved in. I did receive one from you a couple of days ago, although I was confused as it appears to be a topic message you meant in reply to someone else. I just ignored it as it really didn't seem to be in context. I think there are other ways to create them after using the multi-quote tool so perhaps you have done some unintentionally. hot enough
I stand corrected. I have used PMs. But I have never received one in this regard; "The warnings are visible to members in 2 places: ... 2) among your personal messages"
