Dear God, woman. If you're not on the list, you will say anything to stay off the list. The people in these countries deal with Trumps every day. They know how to massage inflated egos.

Of course, the peninsular Arabs should be at the top, esp. KSA. Nobody has done more to spread jihadism across the world than they have.

Oh boy, man.  You guys will say anything!

So what if they'd dealt with Trump.  Like as if Hillary and Bill hadn't dealt with Arabs - and had accepted access for cash -  WHILE HILLARY  was in office!

B.C. construction school reverses policy banning Israeli students

Jan 31, 2017

GABRIOLA ISLAND, B.C. – A private school that teaches log home and wood fame construction has apologized to a man whose application was rejected because he is from Israel.

B’nai Brith Canada says the Israeli engineering student and amateur carpenter wanted to take a course at the Island School of Building Arts on Gabriola Island, east of Nanaimo in British Columbia.

The group says the student was told the institution does not accept applications from Israel because of conflict and “illegal settlement activity” in the region.

Gee, I wonder why they'd reversed it.

Doesn't look good wagging that moral finger in the face of Trump.....when Canadians close their eyes to this utterly senseless banning!

Canadians are right up there being bullies!

Disgusting hypocrites!

'Oh boy, man' doesn't have the same ring to it. I don't picture you as really indignant right now.

You're right.  It doesn't.

Because Hillary was doing it WHILE in office.....whereas Trump may have had previous business dealings with them PRIOR to being President.

And shame on the Clintons!  We're talking paying for access!

There's the big difference that's lost to you!

Canadian university accused of ‘banning’ Jewish students

Suit filed in Ontario seeks legal review, damages for alleged discrimination, starting when the student government endorsed BDS in January

On August 3, Hasbara Fellowships Canada filed a formal complaint with the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal, where it accused the student and faculty associations of the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) and Durham College of discriminating against Jewish students and Israel, following the banning of Hasbara Fellowships Canada from participating in a student association-sponsored “Social Justice Week” five months ago.

Where's Trudeau?  Where's Mulcair?   Why aren't their mouths flapping in outrage over these bannings?

Hy[ocritical, sanctimonious twits!

Ok and what was so insulting about Trudeau's tweet? That Canada welcomes refugee's when the US doesn't? Was that news to Trump? Did he feel insulted and belittled? Shall our politicians walk around on eggshell's for the sake of Trumps feelings? How PC do you want us to be?

I guess we could start with it not being true since they have announced there is no plan to change the number of refugees we are taking.  And in light of that you could say that the tweet was another liberal political move for the domestic audience, surely the fortunes of the liberal party are worth threatening our relationship with the US for.  Look at Ontario, it's going to hell in a hand basket but the liberals are still in charge, and good for them!

Why bother having a country at all, then? It does seem rather an elaborate waste of time and energy if we are just going to meekly agree with whatever some foreign psychopath yells at us.

Another country decides to temporarily bar members of third countries, none of which are particularly friendly or important to Canada. Why do you feel it's necessary to argue with them about it? What has meek got to do with not caring and not wanting to risk an open breach over something supremely unimportant to us?

Again - What threat to the relationship? He tweeted that if the USofA is going to turn you away you can come to Canada!   How is that an insult or a threat?  Was it perhaps that Trump was insulted/angered that Trudeau drew some attention to his recent EO? The one that he televised for all to see? I doubt it.

and Trudeau signs on to whatever he can get we know the word 'spineless sell-out' will never cross your lips.

What exactly are we selling out? Do you feel it is our noble duty to protect the dignity of Yemenis, Somalis and Syrians who want to travel to the United States, no matter the cost?

Brutal dictators have had state dinners in the UK forever. That includes Vladimir Putin, and China's president, not to mention the King of Saudi Arabia. Their crimes and killings are legion. Occasionally there are a few protesters, mostly from ethnic groups. A million people could protest Trump when he goes there because... he put a 90 day ban on some people entering his country.

The mind boggles at how superficial and shallow the Left can be.

You are taking the bully's side here. Stating one's view is not 'arguing'.The government of our country should feel free to express its own policy without fear of offending some unstable foreign potentate.

The arguement isn't about ability, it's whether it's a good idea or not.

What bully? Putting a 90 day bar on citizens of another country is bullying?

Doesn't that then make all those other countries worse bullies since they bar citizens of Israel and always have?

As I wrote earlier, a brave man can throw himself in front of a raging bull to protect a child from being trampled, but only an idiot does so to protect some daisies.

It's not the policy - it's the idea we have to avoid voicing any dissent ABOUT the policy that's the bullying aspect here, that we have to so terrified of displeasing our American masters our leaders can't say what they think any more.

Your idea of what a bully is has morphed into something that doesn't fit the definition of a bully.

What some people thinking of trade and economy (media, pundits and some people like us) are saying , are simply opinion!

NDP Mulcair is the bully when it comes to that.  He's applying the vice on Trudeau to challenge Trump!

Don't you agree Mulcair is behaving like a bully?

America has been pushing it's fat carcass around the planet for decades now. It's a super-rogue, a Frankenstate, a monster that needs to be put down.

Trump could care less what anyone thinks. He's doing what he thinks is right and exactly what he said he would when he ran.

I have a problem with the METHOD in which he is going about announcing how he will vet incoming persons. So do many.

Attacking him personally is stupid. Insulting him is stupid.  There is a way to do things to express one's disagreement without being insulting and causing back-lash. Its called diplomacy. Trudeau has in fact now made three tweets.  All 3 parties in Ottawa need to shut the phack up and stop trying to get brownie points pandering to their constituencies.

I agree with  Gen. Leslie now. Everyone calm down.

You always have to be careful about what you say to the big, dumb, violent guys. That doesn't make them your master, it simply acknowledges they have low impulse control and big shoulders.
