Why would anyone be surprised that something that was not the goal didn't happen? That sums things up. There was no exit plan, and no after exit plan. The War in Syria resulted from the so-called Arab Spring...not the so-called War on Terror. The current War in Iraq spilled over from Syria. These folks are quite capable of pulling triggers w/o our assistance. So the failed war on terror in Iraq spilled over into Syria but is only a result of the Arab Spring? Ha. The only reason the war on terror has failed is because of conservatives, the stupidest people in the known universe. The current fail is because Obama has snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Now foreign leaders openly dis Barry, even the tiny little Philippines is not afraid of what Barry might do. Because everybody knows he'll do nothing after he threatened Syria and then backed down, and more recently gave huge money to Iran for hostages. The sooner this shmuck leaves, the better. They're also an integral part of the economy. The migrants who keep flooding into Europe can and should simply be put on boats and sent home. That's the only way they're going to stop coming. That would make sense if the Paris attackers were not French born citizens. And to edit, how is the revolving door with on the US Mexico border? No matter how many you send back, they keep coming, and that's been going on for decades. Deporting them wont solve it, preventing them from getting there in the first place would help much more. Also if we stopped funding terrorism under the guise of 'rebel support' (in America they'd be called traitors!) then we could also make some progress. If not, pack yer bags! There is a way to legally get into a specific nation, if you do not want to go through that process, then you do not want to be in that country that bad. And the only way to stop them is to catch them and send them back. Or build a wall. If the wall is such a crazy idea, someone should tell that to the Chinese and Israel.
