America under President Trump

Recommended Posts

Things we know about Trump for a fact:
Trump is dishonest to the extreme – nearly everything Trump says are made up facts or an exaggeration. So far the Washington Post tracked 10,796 false or misleading claims made by Trump since becoming president.
Trump hides his business dealings - won't show tax returns.
Trump is a vain man - his comb over hair and orange dye skin does not hide his age, it just makes him ridiculous.
Trump is not a family man and his relationship with women is disgusting and disturbing - multiple affairs and scandals. Cheats on his wives and pay women for sex. Does family values mean nothing to Trump supporters?
Trump is a draft dodger, shirking his duty to defend his country to other good men – yet he still has the audacity to insult the service of actual war heroes like John McCain. Does honor mean nothing to Trump supporters?
Trump has been over privileged his entire life.
Trump is a poor businessman – bankrupting a $3 Billion dollar casino
Trump's wealth is tied to Russia
Trump is overbearing
How could any American elect this immorality into their highest office? It is a disgrace.

Clearly, Trump is dishonest, a cheater, a coward, and an incompetent. And Trump’s base are still supporting him. Why? Because he’s racist?

For the same reason the world continues to support and will not attack the United States of America.

For the ill informed - some reality for you.

Exactly.  As the graph clearly shows President Trump has been dramatically more effective than Obama in his first two years.

In Obama's first 2 years unemployment grew at least 1%.  In Trumps first 2 years unemployment dropped 1.5 %.

I appreciate you posting this.  Many ill informed people don't understand just how much better Trump is than Obama.

They better not given there's nobody in charge over there. They haven't had a Homeland Security Secretary In months. Good thing the deputy secretary... oops. ain't got one of them either. Thankfully they can look to the secretary of Defense... whooops, nobody there either.

Well, it's not like these are important jobs or anything!

Yes, but Obama was handed a flaming skunk pile and Trump was handed ... the line on the graph.

What was that ?  Did the GW Bush admin get the FBI and CIA to spy on him and attempt a coup ?

Because if that happened, I can understand why Obama might have hard a hard time getting up to speed.

Actually, Obama was handed and continued many of the George W. Bush administration's policies for economic recovery after the recession, including TARP and tax cuts.

Obama also cozied up to Wall Street, just as before.

He also was handed the friendliest Fed interest rates in history.  Net -1.5, while Trump is like +2.5 already.

There's only one kid on the short bus, and it's not Trump

Would it be the guy who took over in 2008 at the start of one of the worst recessions in memory - largely caused by the previous administration?

No, as Bush did not sign the repeal of Glass-Steagall....that would be Bill Clinton (1999).   This was the final chapter for many years of financial deregulation going back decades.

No, all Bush did was appoint people to run the agencies tasked with monitoring the behavior of banks and mortgage companies who had zero interest in policing or even watching them and instead acted as their supporters and protectors.

Bush is complicit as well.  But the repeal of Glass-Steagall was the tool they needed to harvest the wealth of millions.  O'Malley talked aboot this briefly in his presidential run.  He boiled it down pretty well.

Six big banks went from controlling, approx 15 percent of our GDP to now 65 percent of our GDP~ M. O'Malley

It looks like you were implying something.

Are you just slow witted or cowardly ?

If you are slow witted, let me help you out by spelling it out for you.

You stated, "Trump's ridiculous paranoid assertions" after I referenced the Obama Administrations attempted coup of Trump.

I asked you to make a case that on Trump's paranoid assertions.

I like how you skip over the 'attempted coup' like it's just a fact that everybody knows about like Pearl Harbour.  You owe me that assertion, assuming I don't put you on ignore for posting propaganda, in the next ten seconds.

I don't owe you anything.  If you can't handle it, stay in your safe bubble and ignore me.  Don't be ashamed if you can't handle opposing positions, not everyone is up to it.

This is really a political landscape of alternate realities.

In the Trump Bubble, he can do no wrong. Trump actually didn't admit to accepting dirt on a political opponent and say he'd do it again, on National TV. That's just the vast conspiracy against his orangeness.

It's kind of the same willful ignorance we see in Anti-Vaxxers, 911 Truthers and Flat Earthers.

Low Unemployment numbers only matter when you're in power right.
