America under President Trump

Meaning Trumps friends are still his bigger challenge.

Indeed. Who needs friends with enemies as counter-productive as the Demohacks are right now? They will drive even those who dislike Trump into voting for him, because they dislike the Demohacks more, just like they did in 2016, except this time Trump will have an incumbency advantage and booming economy under his administration to run on, on top Democrats driving voters away by doubling down on the derp from 2016.

Either way, President Donald Trump has remained remarkably resilient, even reveling in the twisting fits he causes for friends or enemies.

A real estate developer from Queens with zero political office experience has managed to enrage and flummox even the most tenured of Capital Hill's partisan hacks, regardless of party membership.

Trump is a force that they don't know how to deal with.

By the time they figure out how to deal with Trump, he'll have secured his second term, so might as well tank to prove that their current strategy is doomed to failure.

Like the inexperienced Sorcerer's Apprentice he's nothing compared to the forces he's putting into motion.  His 'friends' will know what to do.

Trump has already accomplished the most important task...blocking Hillary Clinton from the presidency.

Everything else is just gravy.....

Lots of inexperienced politicians are formidable

Very very few are as capable of doing the sort of damage Trump can do.  It's not even close.

That's probably a plus to encourage in many eyes.

America is at least going in the right direction now:

-Appeasement of Iran and NoKo is done

-Isis isn't a large country anymore,

-rioting & looting isn't commonplace in America anymore,

-the economy is booming,

-China's trade tactics are meeting new resistance,

-the military is getting stronger

-Russia isn't flexing their muscles in any new public places (Crimea and Syria started under Obama) since Trump took over.

There are a lot of positive changes that have occurred domestically and on the foreign front since Trump took office. Obama's backsliding America has all but vanished.

Yes but lefties are still running wild in the streets so there's nothing to be complacent about.

Lefties running wild in the streets is just what Trump needs to get re-elected.    Splitting the Democrat party will make this far easier:

Good grief, that's actually shocking.  On one hand Trump is doing a good job, but part of me really wants to see the US try out socialism.

I asked a socialist this before. Name me a country where workers owning the means of production actually worked.

Could you imagine if your plane was forced to land somewhere and the Dem Convention was going on in that town? What if you were snowed-in for a week, surrounded by those people, and you had to sleep in a football arena where you were literally surrounded by hundreds of them?

What would you do?

There is no such thing. They either failed or switched gears and became oligarchies.  I'm pretty sure workers were worked to the bone in either case.

Name me a Canadian or American socialist that is saying this is what we should do too. I mean an actual name and a quote thereof, some something that isn't...nebulous.

Lots of former POTUS were capable of doing the sort of damage Trump can do, inexperienced or not. It is close, not sure why you are more worried with Trump than Obama, or Clinton.

You were talking about other inexperienced politicians not past presidents. What on Earth is it that compels you people to constantly switch gears like that?

Would you even notice if I just started taking about tomatoes?

Uh...because Obama and Clinton are past tense and Trump is present tense?

So you are this worried about the damage that can be done any time there is a POTUS in office in the present tense? Or just when it's a Republican POTUS in office during the present? Or just when Trump is presently POTUS?

Before Clinton and Obama were POTUS, they didn't have much political experience, especially Obama, just in case you were unaware.

Surprising to see the Dow Jones doing so well while trade with China is unravelling. It must have to do with the UK Trip.

It is profitable do more business with your allies and less with your enemies... in America under President Trump.

More likely it is due to the Fed hinting at rate cuts if tariffs cause big damage to the U.S. economy.

Rates need to go up, but the addiction to low interest rates will be hard to shake.

Corrections are a good thing, just take your profits as you go, convert your dollars to gold as you deem prudent,  and prepare to short when the piper has to be paid, sell high, buy low.
