Not that I was paying much attention to the details, but I never got the whole "lock her up!" thing.

What was the crime again?   Was it the security breach with her computer, or is it Benghazi related?

It was the e-mail server and FBI (Comey) findings....crimes for anybody else with a security clearance.

OIC.  Yeah I don't care about that one, SC is Executive Order, I don't recognize that as being a law, the congressional law is for lower ranking employees, obviously if the POTUS wants his SECSTATE to have the intel, it's just partisan hackery to try to charge a senior cabinet official for that, and I don't care about hackery.

Hanging those guys out to dry in Benghazi tho, that was bad.  That should have been Broken Arrow.

OK well you can pay $20 for a pound of Strawberries if you want.

In a more sustainable time people got strawberries locally and during the off season went without or at canned.  Why do we think we should deserve strawberries year round at a cheap price ?

Globalism is a labor scam.  One of the major goals is to keep labor costs down for corporate interests.  They do this by exporting semi skilled and skilled jobs to 3rd world countries and importing 3rd world limmigrants for manual jobs.  The effective outcome is a shrinking of the middle class, and increased profits for corporate interests.  Exactly what we've seen during the last 25 years of globalism.

Also, cheap and slave labor stifles innovation and concentrates production and pollution.  It is only helping international corporations.

U.S. Senate votes to confirm President Trump's nominee for Attorney General (William Barr) 54 - 45, which means he got some Democratic votes.

...WINNING !

I'm not sold on Barr, he has a questionable history on 2nd Amendment and personal liberty issues.  However, he's likely to be less fettered than Sessions and a damn site better than Rosenstein who effectively has been the Attorney General of the US since May of 2017.

It was very crafty how the Deep State sidelined Sessions.  McCabe opened a criminal investigation into Jeff Sessions based on his confirmation hearings.  Sessions was effectively under Damocles Sword, leaving Rosenstein to act as the effective Attorney General.  This was the first Coup in the Trump Administration.

Barr is CIA-Columbia U., born and bred; 2016 5-figures Jeb! donor.

You can smell Pompeo all over him.

Soft landing for all swampers involved is the game plan, yet again.

Yeah, you're smelling the same stench as I am.

The Swamp and MSM paint this picture of a responsible government and dutiful self sacrificing government servants in Washington DC with strong oversite of any wrong doing.  But when you focus on the negative space of their painting and look for the punishments of known wrongdoing it's pretty empty.

The last person I can name punished by the US government in Washington DC was Sandy Berger who stole and destroyed documents in the National Archives.  He got a small fine and probation.  Prior to that, it was Iran-Contra, a handful of DC folks went to jail.  What we see in that Negative space is a two tier justice system.

I suspect that DC feels they are going to have to punish someone, and McCabe is acting like he knows it is him.  While an attempted coup against a democratically elected POTUS probably deserves public hangings of those involved, we'll likely get most of the charges put on one person and minor charges an a few ancillary conspirators.

Why is there so much media-hype about this Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez? Ok, she is a youngish woman and not terribly ugly either so it is easy to understand why she is such a pet of the media.

However, AOC is a first-term HOR-member  but judging by the media-coverage one would think that she is a very important leader of the Democrats.

FoxNews is particularly focused on AOC. It's because they are very frightened of her. She can speak clearly, reasonably, to the point, and express ideas that most people agree with. And she is just the sort of person capable of actually draining the swamp.

Watch her recent viral video regarding taxation of the extreme rich. The extreme rich are very frightened of clear, common-sense talk like that.

Watch her questioning of former Republican National Committee deputy chair of finance Michael Cohen yesterday. No grandstanding. No aimless observations. Just to-the-point questions about specific crimes Cohen says Trump committed, like insurance fraud and tax evasion. Once she got the answers she wanted that will be grounds for subpoenas of Trump's taxes, she moved on to the next crime.

This is absolutely terrifying to the swamp.

Probably because of her wildly inaccurate and immature statements plus she's young and the face of the far left which seems to be where the Dems are trending now.

"Just last year we gave the military a $700 billion budget increase, which they didn’t even ask for."

"ICE is required to fill 34,000 beds with detainees every single night and that number has only been increasing since 2009."

There's a funny meme which isn't true but it's how many people see her:    'the difference between billions and trillions of dollars is negligible because it just involves more zeros which aren't worth anything'

You're suggesting hanging Trump for leading the birther movement?

Nope....her "clear" points and ideas are not agreeable to most people, not even some in her own party.

Sorry, but millions of Americans still like airline travel.

Her positions on universal health care and on taxing the extremely rich at a higher rate have wide and growing support. But it's true there are some in her own party who are just as frightened of her as Republicans.

Her positions on universal health care and taxation are neither new or original.    She will need much more support to realize what many others before her have failed to achieve.

AOC has borrowed from Trump's playbook, but her own party is hesitant to jump in with her.

I would say the main reason is that FOX and the right-wing meme-sphere keep putting her up as a symbol of millennial liberal stupidity.  The Democrats also don't want this hype on her as she's a maverick.

AOC has also adopted some of Trump's methods to get lots of free media attention and stay in the spotlight, which could steal oxygen from Democrat candidates going forward (AOC is too young to become President/Vice President in 2021).

The camera likes her for sure.  So will the next leader of the Dems be a centrist or a left wing firebrand?  I think only a take no prisoners type can take on Trump.

Trump is always right. The problem is that there are so many people out there who refuse to try and get it like those non-thinking leftist liberals. The problem is will those lefty liberals ever get it? It's quite clear from the video that the democrats, liberals and socialists of America and Canada are still playing with toy cars and dolls and have not grown up yet and have tried to at least learn as to what real politics is all about. Those are the ones that are really destroying their own country's and their own lives. They are always listening to the wrong people.

Only true conservatism works. Liberalism and socialism does not work. Aw well.

No.

I'm talking about Barrack Obama using the US Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation to illegally spy on Candidate Trump.  Then attempt to overturn the legitimate election of Donald Trump.

But you knew that.

Bernie is too old and Kamala is horrible. Btw, kamala in Finnish means horrible.

Agreed.

But Kamala is the media darling for now and Bernie still has some crazy support, raised $6 Million in the first 24 hours.  What I find interesting is the POTUS says in the State of the Union the US will never be Socialist, then the Dems turn out a bunch of Socialists.

The Dems will run more 'moderate' candidates later in the year.  I think they are letting the Socialists have their voice and it will make other Dems look moderate instead of Democrat Socialists.

The Wildcard issue for the Dems is post birth abortion, or as I like to call it, Infanticide.  Dems have made it an issue by making it legal in a number of states.  Dem candidates are going to have to answer where they stand on it, if they are for it, they are done.
