I recently went to Seattle via Calgary and returned via Toronto. Calgary was very quick and Toronto on the way back was chaotic. There were three lines for non-connecting passengers, connecting passengers and the Nexus crowd and the connecting line was not clearly indicated. I had to sprint to catch the plane and was the last person on. In future, I will give myself two hours to catch a connecting flight in Toronto. Guest Posted March 21, 2016 Report Share Posted March 21, 2016 (edited) Toronto is an extremely busy airport, I've had similar issues in Chicago and Atlanta. I avoid Pearson if I can or, like you said, I give myself more time there. I live in Southern Ontario and find it easier and far cheaper, to drive to Buffalo or Detroit to fly to American destinations. The quaint, tiny airports are a breeze to get through. Smallc Posted March 22, 2016 Report Share Posted March 22, 2016 I find Terminal 1 (the Air Canada terminal) to be very good. That said, I'm probably going to miss my connection when returning from Athens in May, as I only have 1:30. It's all on an Air Canada ticket though, so I'm not worried.
