These provincial Liberals are just following their federal leaders in following party corruption practices. What does Justin Trudeau have to say about this scandal about Liberal corruption?

I doubt if JT will have anything to say. There is no Conservative Party in Quebec so the Quebec "Liberals" are really aligned with the federal Conservatives.

No you proclaim - Liberals are Liberals !!!!!

These criminal acts took place under the leadership of the Premier of the time - Liberal leader Jean Charest. He was the Deputy Prime Minister of Canada from June 25, 1993, until November 4, 1993. Charest was the leader of the federal Progressive Conservative Party of Canada from 1993 to 1998, and was the leader of the Quebec Liberal Party from 1998 to 2012. On September 5, 2012.

I guess it is Rhona Ambrose (who is the current leader of the federal Conservative Party) who should be commenting on this scandal.

I do not think that she will be commenting.

Rick Anderson said, that its more about politicians doing wrong things and giving them ALL bad names, I agree. All parties, in all level of governments have corrupt people. More over sight is need, especially for those in governments more than one term. The longer one is in, the more chance of corruption. Quebec was noted to be the most corrupt province , so maybe the present Premier can clean it up.

Quebec was built on corruption, and we will see this with the federal liberals. And I doubt JT will say anything either, his more open policy and transparency was hog wash also. The same with bombardier , if they want more money and they will get it, there should be conditions set, like a whole sale change in management.

But this corruption took place when the Quebec government was working with the federal Conservative party - its federal parent. The federal Liberals are opponents of the Quebec provincial "Liberals". Don't the Harper Conservatives have to accept the responsibility for the federal aspect of this?

When it comes to corruption no party does it better than the Liberals .

Dear Clueless, do you know that there is no "Conservative" party in Quebec so Quebec Conservative leadership, policies and organization is called "Liberal" in Quebec?

The middle and left views are represented by the Parti Québécois, Coalition Avenir Québec and Québec solidaire. The Premier of Quebec when these latest criminal acts took place is the former leader of the federal Conservative party - Jean Charest?

Nothing is more corrupt than this Emporer Trudeau trying to con the western provinces that he cares about there future and the 40% increase in the suicide rate.

Trudeaus homeland is Quebec.

Well stated. Eastern Canadians may be shocked to know I have heard more about Western separation in the last three months than the previous 20 years. Credit goes to Justin Trudeau and the arrogant Liberals for stoking a fire that was down to only a few embers .

Talk to enough people and you will find a lot of anger with this government in particular in Western Canada. The name Trudeau carries a lot of negative baggage in the West to begin with and the fact that Trudeau has done nothing to show good will yet doesn't help. His token of 250 million to Alberta is insulting and laughable . The reality is Western Canada does not need Eastern Canada and truthfully we would be better off without them and their pathetic Liberal love affair . PS How is Ontario doing with their world's largest sub sovereign debt due to Liberal incompetence ? Wonder if there enjoying North America's most expensive energy due to Liberal stupidity ?

these 'fringe of the fringe' types and their imaginary trumped-up separation ramblings! It's always quite humourous to read these wunderkind speaking at large for the "West's thirst for separation". What's the deelio here - didn't their boy Harper cull "the West wants in" bleating hearts? Western Canadians are proud Canadians - nuff said.

Quebec politics has always been corrupt. And when the french moved to Ottawa, they brought the corruption with them. Quebec is nothing but a pain in the butt for the rest of Canada. Bilingualism has cost Canada billions, and what did it get the rest of Canada? A unilingual french speaking province who denies anglophones their English rights. But do the anglophones care? No, because like Ontario and soon Manitoba, they are all going bilingual.

The rest of Canada just does not seem to see or care as to what is happening to their fellow anglophones in Quebec. That is because the anglophone media will not say or challenge Quebec on it's bigotry against Anglophones. Even our anglophone politicians are to cowardly to say anything. Quebec will always treat the rest of Canada like it owns them until we can get an Anglophone leader who shows some marbles. Until then???

We will never see the anglophone media ever mention anything about Western separatism. It will always be treated as some crazy notion by a bunch of western yahoos. It is a taboo and scared topic that must never be allowed to be heard. Doug Christie had tried for decades to wake the western Canadian people up, but they never bothered to listen. And thus, they continue to get shafted by quebec and french controlled Ottawa. And they deserve it big time.

It's not taboo.... It's just that no one is interested in it except a handful of malcontents who like to whine about how hard done by they are.

The only malcontents in this country are the french. They are never happy no matter what the rest of the country does to try and please them. While silly butt Ontario goes bilingual to try and please them, they will still and always remain a unilingual french speaking province only. They don't want anything to do with the English language in quebec. The anglophones of this country are nothing but a bunch of suckers and fools, and it has and will continue to cost them billions of their tax dollars just to keep quebec in Canada. And the french laugh at the anglophones all the way to the bank.
