Politicians like Trump and Harper also like to pile on the loathing and the sort of people they pander to can't seem to lap it up fast enough. At that point in the election all anyone had to do was let him open his mouth and say something stupid and or disgusting. As for me personally I really only fear what Harper has placed in Trudeau's hands, which is a bigger tool-kit of increased state powers.
