Justin Trudeau Owes An Apologize to Conservative

Trudeau repeatedly attacked the Conservatives' enhanced universal child care benefit during the election campaign, maintaining that "wealthy families" like his didn't need taxpayers' help.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has defended using tax dollars to pay for two nannies, insisting he is only shuffling the household budget to suit his young family.

"Obviously it will come as no surprise to people that we have a different family situation with three small children than the Harpers did," he said during a news conference in Ottawa Wednesday. "That means we will operate within the same family budget that the previous prime minister had, but we will shuffle it around so that it fits better our priorities.

"And that is what Canadians expect."

Trudeau was grilled during question period by Ontario Conservative MP Karen Vecchio, who said she was "offended" that one of the PM's first acts was to take up a benefit no other Canadian receives.

I agree Justin Trudeau needs the tax dollars as child care benefit for his children, but disagree his attacks on the universal child care benefit of conservative, and also disagree his answer is enough for the question from the conservative MP Karen.

For justifying the current needs of his family and his behavior to meet the needs, he needs also to make an apologize to conservative for his wrong attacks on the issue of universal child care benefit in the last federal campaign.

If one wants to play the game Conservatives vs Liberals, Harper first thing he did within the first 2 weeks as PM is to give a pay raise to the House, not one MP complained, which had to contribute to their deceit, along with cutting the GST. IF PMs had to give out an "I'm sorry of offend u" Harper would still be PM.

Thanks for that point. It is important to note that when one politician does something sketchy, it follows that one from the other side automatically gets a pass to do something stupid too. That is how we do things in Canada, we want to be fair after all.

Harper owes Trudeau " a Duffy" already.
