Newfoundlander
It's not clear who will win the election just yet but who could we expect Harper, Trudeau or even Mulcair put in their cabinet? Who will be the Minister of Finance, Justice, Foreign Affairs, National Defence, Health, etc.?
Topaz
I think both the Libs and the NDP have people with experience in finance and the Liberals have a doctor in the party if she re-elected. Its really hard to say until we see who won and who got elected, many are going to be new to all parties.
ReeferMadness
Seems way too early for this question.

Maybe Minister of Defense?

Newfoundlander
Bill Morneau has been touted as Trudeau's likely Finance Minister. I doubt very much that Goodale would go back there and McCallum definitely won't because he's an awful communicator. Garneau is Foreign Affairs critic but I wouldn't be surprised to see Andrew Leslie go into that role. Trudeau has also pledged to have an equal number of men and women in his cabinet. Judy Foote is considered to be the obvious choice from Newfoundland and Labrador, she currently serves as the party's whip.

ToadBrother
Oh dear, the sin of presumption: http://www.catholic.com/quickquestions/what-is-the-sin-of-presumption Yes, well, the Tories could somehow magically get a majority. But it seems very unlikely, and anything less than a majority means we're going to be having this conversation at some point in the next few months. Newfoundlander
If Harper is re-elected it'll be interested to see who will fill key vacancies in his cabinet. The Ministers of Justice, Industry, Heritage, and International Development are not seeking re-election and a number of other ministers could lose re-election. Rue
Topaz you suggested the Liberals have a doctor in their party in relation to potential cabinet ministers. Unless she is a proctologist I fail to see how that qualifies her.
