Have you ever posted any positive comments about any conservative type party in Canada?

Jeez, you're the one who declared the Reform party too left for your tastes.

But please don't let me interrupt your shameless trolling and flamebaitery.

Exactly, so it was not rocket science that people seem to say about martin paying it off. He was nothing special. But he did get a tax cut for his company.

Toronto, like a roach motel in the middle of a pretty living room.

Don't fall off your chair spinning that fast. You hold up Harper earlier in this thread as being better because he didn't use EI. Now you're saying what a great guy he is because he did! Your partisan bias is working overtime here.

Pot. ...Kettle...

Cybercoma please debate honestly. Don't call others partisan when you're by far one of the worst partisans here. Come on. Be honest.

And the thing is, Squid, nobody has addressed the change in accounting procedures that have made it impossible to compare budgets back past 2012. There has been no update of the historical record and there likely won't ever be one. Imagine the howls if one of the opposition parties, especially the NDP changing the accounting procedures.

The Finance Department released the REAL numbers ending March 31, 2015. Those numbers are REAL numbers as they happened in real life. The Auditor General department verified those numbers BEFORE the Finance Dept released them.

Here are some facts for you, real facts:

"Moreover, the Finance Department shows spending by veterans affairs was up $121 million in fiscal 2015 or 13% and spending by aboriginal affairs was up a whopping $1.9 billion or 29% compared to fiscal 2014.

Federal transfers to individuals -- old age security, EI benefits, and so on -- were up 5.9%, well past the annual rate of inflation.

Ottawa also sent more money to provincial capitals in 2004-2015. Those transfers were up 4.4%.

All of these numbers, by the way, got the seal of approval from Auditor General Michael Ferguson before being released."

Thankful to have become a free thinker.
