To be treated as any other canadian. This sickens me to think him and his family living as millionaires on the canadian taxpayer dime. So many ''canadians'' out there that will work very hard, abide by the rules and never make a million in thier life times and to think he could walk away with many. So we now know of 2 things the wonder boy will do. legalize weed and pay off terrorists.. Keep it coming.

Toronto, like a roach motel in the middle of a pretty living room.

First of all, I don't see anywhere in that article where it says he will be living as a millionaire off the taxpayer's dime. That's pure speculation on your part. Secondly, do you have absolutely no respect for the Supreme Court of Canada and the Charter of Rights?

From the Sunnews link:

"Omar Khadr needs to be treated the way we treat Canadians according to the rules that exist, according to the laws and principles that govern," said Trudeau, adding the former teen soldier should be treated like "any Canadian who as been incarcerated outside of the country.”

"We need to be fair to the way we treat Canadians, and if people don't like the way the laws are now, well then, they need to change them," Trudeau said.

What an awful thing to say! Trudeau supports the use of airbrakes in residential areas!

A nice acid test of the times is when people start "accusing" a politician of being a "Muslim."

First of all, the allegation is ludicrous fear-mongering.

Second, it takes it for granted that being something called a "Muslim" is a kind of evil.

“There is a limit to how much we can constantly say no to the political masters in Washington. All we had was Afghanistan to wave. On every other file we were offside. Eventually we came onside on Haiti, so we got another arrow in our quiver."

But he is evil, don't you understand?

Damn, you're right.

Personally, I don't consider Trudeau to be terribly impressive. But I don't think he's quite defending a (non-existent) Islamist takeover of Canadian society just yet.

If it is fear mongering, then it's nothing short of bigotry. He's not Muslim. The argument is ludicrous. But the idea that if he were Muslim it's something to be feared or somehow makes him less of a person or not worthy of office, well that's absolutely bigotry.

When I posted about him being a muslim was to point out how close he was getting to the Islamics. And how he has been acting, I think it is dangerous for him to be acting that way.

I think it's partisan paranoia and sheer idiocy to think that it's "dangerous".

It may be crass politics... But I've seen just as bad from Harper... Or worse when his office is buying the silence of a senator.

Does Justin mean the way William Sampson was treated ( I mean abandoned) by the Canadian government? Google it
