Topaz Posted March 4, 2013 Report Posted March 4, 2013 Now that the computer is a household word, I wonder where all those typewriters are today and I really didn't know just how many there have been produce over the years. I do have a one that's about 80 years old, bought one for my sons back in the 1980's that runs on batteries or hydro and I have an electric one plus now the computer. We still have the Commando 64 game unit and the first computer bought back in the '80's. BTW, here's some of the typewriters invented through the years and some are weird looking. http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=Old+Typewriters&qpvt=Old+Typewriters&FORM=IQFRML Quote

GostHacked Posted March 4, 2013 Report Posted March 4, 2013 If you have an old typewriter, hang on it to. I have a few older items of days gone by but I wont part with them. Quote

DogOnPorch Posted March 5, 2013 Report Posted March 5, 2013 Oooooooo....Harlen Ellison's typewriter. That's very cool. Something you'd find on Pawn Stars, etc. Quote Nothing cracks a turtle like Leon Uris.
