lukin Posted October 19, 2011 Report Posted October 19, 2011 This video is from a few years back, and I'm sure many of you have seen it, but it is excellent how Christopher Hitchins rips Bill Maher and his audience. I'm sure many posters on this forum are similar to Bill Maher's audience. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTrzZLM0Tm4 The whole segment is great, but start at about the 4:00 mark to see Hitchins at his greatest. BubberMiley Posted October 19, 2011 Report Posted October 19, 2011 Simple minded comment from a simple minded simpleton. That's as good an explanation as any. I would also agree that people who talk (unironically) of Obama Derangement Syndrome are equally simple minded, but at least they're relevant to the time we live in. Moonlight Graham Posted October 19, 2011 Report Posted October 19, 2011 What is he wrong about? That Saddam and Abu Musab al-Zarqawi/Ansar al-Islam (which had ties with al-Qaeda) were collaborators. More garbage made up by the Bush admin with no evidence whatsoever and debunked by the US intelligence community, the 'Senate Report on Pre-war Intelligence on Iraq', Colin Powell after leaving the Bush admin, and the Ansar al-Islam group itself, which considers the Hussein regime its enemy. The guy is also quite a rude lump. Quote "All generalizations are false, including this one." - Mark Twain Partisanship is a disease of the intellect.

Moonlight Graham Posted October 20, 2011 Report Posted October 20, 2011 Oh...and maher is a gentleman. Take off the fish goggles graham. I wouldn't say that, but he isn't giving people the middle finger. And the first part of my post was unchallenged. He remains full of bologna, his comments being total speculative guesses.
