maplesyrup
Another Liberal 'Young Turk' Arrested "If only," one Liberal insider sighed, "it hadn't been crystal meth."Not, he hastened to add, that the Campbell administration would have been the least bit happy about one of its ministerial aides being charged with criminal offences involving any illicit substance. But there is indeed some added irony that the substance involved in the drug-dealing charges against ministerial assistant Marshall Smith is crystal meth – the same substance on which the Liberals are currently focusing their war on drugs. It was less than two months ago that Susan Brice, the minister of state for mental health and addictions, announced that her government would be developing a special plan to tackle the problems of crystal meth. Cartman
If any gov't should know something about drugs and alcohol it should be the BC Liberals. Ralph is starting to look like a moderate.
Bro
Ho Hum,another liberal scandal, something else that will have a very short lived appearance in the liberal dominated media.
caesar
Well Bro; Campbell may call himself a Liberal but he is a extreme right winged twerp very closely resembling Harper. The character in question was just picked up again yesterday
takeanumber
No, not a Liberal. A British Columbian Tory.
willy
We like to call him Premier. He earned the right when the last government was left with 2 seats. The economy in BC is outpacing the rest of the country right now and has a rosy outlook. We have long term contracts with our nurses and docs. We have our provincial transportation systems being upgraded. We won the Olympic bid for 2010. The film industry is growing (best year ever) Tourism has recovered. Softwood tariffs are dropping. Massive red tape has been cut out for small business. They are just starting to save us. 4 more years. And I can guarantee 4 years because they kept the promise to have set election dates. And we know they have balanced the books because they are the first government in Canada to use generally accepted accounting principles. Good work Mr. Campbell. maplesyrup
We like to call him Premier. He earned the right when the last government was left with 2 seats. People earn respect. DUI does not generate respect, only derision. Let's cut out the bullshit here!

caesar
We like to call him Premier. He earned the right when the last government was left with 2 seats. Now he has lost that right after the DUI ; and other dubious underhanded legilation and broken promises. He called for others to resign who did much less wrong. willy
The election is next spring. You get your one vote like I get mine. I am looking forward to another 4 years of competent government. What other dubious underhanded legilation? Reference something, but you can't because they are clean. You might not like em but they do what they say. caesar
Well will I do hope you will approve of our next NDP government. Campbell is toast. We don't like drunken liars. They do not do what they say; Remember BC Rail. Remember promises on BC Hydro; remember open honest government?????? When are we going to be informed on what was found during the raid on the legislature????? We did fish farms get their fines forgiven and rents reduced??????? quietly and not legally. What about the the minister's aid that was suspended and we are still forking out a salary to??????? Where did all our health Care dollars go: to rich doctors who now have better things to do with their time than service patients. Might cut into their yachting and golfing. willy
BCRail good deal. Will help develop the north. BC Hydro? Are you talking about the outsourcing of the HR services? This is a common practice for many large companies. The legislature raid is a big ??? The police will release it when they are ready. Until then it would be wise to hold judgment because right now there is nothing to judge. Fish farms?? Depends who you talk to. Ministers aid - legally they probably have to pay him until there is resolution. Money in health care has gone to much change. We now have new health regions and they are continually reforming the delivery. As for the doc they just took a two year wage freeze. We don't like drunken liars. I am glad you have a few other friends that you can share kool aid with but really more people want to work in a growing vibrant province that this government will encourage as apposed to the disaster of the last NDP government.
