Despicable Comment by an NDP Candidate

Well, lookee here - imagine if a CPC candidate said this

Apparently the dipper candidate in Parry Sounds made a comment about shooting Tony Clement. I have not seen any follow up of this from the chattering classes. The dipper candidate is either making a very poor joke or is mad or homicidal or maybe all three. I would like an explanation of this outrage. Perhaps one of the msm could look into it or are they too busy getting leaks from the grits to do any real investigation

So you quote a tweet from Tony Clement who is making a comment about a supposed tweet by the local NDP candidate.

Do you have the actual tweet-quote from the NDP candidate or can people make things up as they go and counts its 'truthiness?'

It wasn't a Tweet from the NDP candidate. Parry Sound NDP candidate Dr Wendy Wilson allegedly made the remark in public at an all candidates forum. So far only bloggers have picked up the story, so Clement put it out there on his twitter.

I'm quite willing to call it what it is, I just need to see/read the quote, I wouldn't take anything from the CPC at face value, I mean, it's not like they haven't lied or mislead before is it?

And... I've slammed the Liberals on this forum many times when they do something wrong, nothing wrong with my objectivity at all.

That makes perfect sense of course.

An alleged comment, referred to on an obscure tweet by a candidate currently under a cloud of suspicion from a leaked Auditor General's report, if it were reversed, would cause mass outrage.

The Conservatives are to be commended on their fortitude during such an attack and will be presented with medals at the brand new $25 million dollar Huntsville Opera House to be build sometime after the election is over.

CPC's track record for veracity outstrips the media and the opposition by several orders of magnitude.

It seems highly unlikely that this would be made up. Clement would bury himself if he were lying.

Assuming the NDP candidate did actually say this, (s)he should be kicked out of the party immediately for his/her despicable remarks. Didn't we learn anything after the shooting in Arizona, which the media tried desperately to tie to Palin's "crosshairs" statements?

The proof is that there is no story in the msm about tony clement making a false statement about the ndp candidate's comments. Not looking good for the candidate.

All that becomes of this is the candidate looks like a fool, the ndp breathes a sigh of relief because this story has no legs, and the cpc get pissed off because of the double standard (imagine if a tory candidate made comments like that)

I just talked to someone who attended that meeting (not Clement) which was in Burk’s Falls who confirmed the comments.

She made the remarks in her opening statement referencing Clement’s campaign van (which has a photo of him on the side), and the long gun registry, as being a good target yadda, yadda.

Of course, this is all made up, she never really said it
