Cons drop 9% against Libs in 3 days

Great news. Harper and his big mouth has shown its true colours. I would imagine the ridiculous charges he made that the Liberals and NDP supported child porn were a big factor. Ralph probably gave it the extra little push.

It is good that Canadians are being shown his real colours. We have too many people who do not know the issues and just are happy to vote out a party that was in power for their performance mistakes. That is only adviseable if you can be confident the the other candidates offer something positive.

I am not happy with Martin or the Liberals but Harper and crew scare me and what they would do to Canada.

Children should protected in this country ! Child porn should not be allowed.

All poltitcal parties should agree on that issue.

There is a diffrence between child porn and an art form we as adults should know that.

Reverend Blair

If it's accurate I'd say it was caused by a combination of Ralph Klein and the assertion that Paul Martin supports child porn. Harper and his neo-conservatives have been showing themselves to be scary people that the Liberals have been trying to paint them as.

This statement is in very bad taste. Children should be used by no one . Not politians , and not sex offenders.

Have you noticed how PM PM is always kissing babies, holding kids, going to day care centres? How about Harper and his kids?

For non-political types, they like pictures with kids.

Remember the famous photo of JFK with his daughter under his desk?

This poll was taken during the same period that the SES shows a dip in support for the Conservatives. The trend has reversed as per SES and does not indicate anything substantial. Even at 28% the Conservatives get more seats. There is still much room to grow, seat wise.

Did anyone see the seat projections on global yesterday.

August1991 is correct

I suspect that the polls may swing back in the Conservative's favour before this campaign is over. The people who are switching sides are the ones who want a minority government. What's happening is that they're supporting the underdog. One party seems too far ahead, they say they're voting for the other one. Then when the support noticably swings, they change their mind.

Early on, it was looking like a Liberal government. When the numbers got too high for them, many people switched to the Conservatives to balance it. Then the Conservatives surged ahead, and the polls swung the other way in an attempt to balance it again. I predict that the Conservatives will form a majority government, because the momentum should swing back in their favour just in time for the actual election.

I think people have been expressing their anger at the current government, but when it comes down to it, they will not be able to bring themselves to vote for the Conservatives. I think that is starting to be reflected now, as people finalize their decisions. The fact that Stephen Harper has not been forthcoming with his true agenda for Canada is starting to sink in. People are nervous and are starting to envision what kind of a country we would live in under Harper.
