Guest TrueMetis Posted January 19, 2011 Report Posted January 19, 2011 (edited) You're against medicine? Because that's what's being made here. These things aren't going to be allowed out for years, not until they been through a massive battery of testing. You may see something with this in it on the shelves in 2015-2017. Bonam Posted January 19, 2011 Report Posted January 19, 2011 I see nothing wrong with this. In fact, given sufficient testing, I see nothing wrong with modifying genomes of humans themselves (in the embryonic stage) for reasons such as eliminating genetic diseases, improving physical and intellectual potential, augmenting the immune system, extending lifespan, etc. Quote

Topaz Posted January 19, 2011 Report Posted January 19, 2011 May be helpful in Third World countries but keep it out of Canadian food supply. There are people with health issues that can't have protein and I can see lawsuit if they do in North America. Quote
dre Posted January 19, 2011 Report Posted January 19, 2011 If CEO's of these companies are willing to test for 10 years on their own kids first, then thats good enough for me! Quote I question things because I am human. And call no one my father who's no closer than a stranger

GostHacked Posted January 22, 2011 Author Report Posted January 22, 2011 Hence labels there genius. Ever read those labels?? Ever understand what some of those ingredients you cannot pronounce are? We have labels for 'organic' items, but not for the rest of the food, which .. is .. not organic? Meaning everything else is or has genetically modified ingredients. Quote

GostHacked Posted January 25, 2011 Author Report Posted January 25, 2011 That's what google is for. Why is that even necessary? I mean why do we even need to look up ingredients because we have no idea what they are? Quote
Bonam Posted January 25, 2011 Report Posted January 25, 2011 Why is that even necessary? I mean why do we even need to look up ingredients because we have no idea what they are? What? If you don't know what something is and want to know, you can use Google (or other means) to find out. I don't understand what it is you want. Would you prefer that products that contain ingredients that "you cannot pronounce" simply did not exist? Quote
