Uhh, do you think the NDP are gonna get 31% of adult votes? And the Greens another 12%? This is why we don't let children vote.

Taxpayers tend to have a lot more concern about how their money is spent.

Maybe you might want to take a look at the latest Leger Marketing polling results for Ontario showing the New Democrats up from 18% to 24%, in one week, showing big momentum ifor the New Democrats in that province. :D

maplesyrup, you are correct, I am no going to admit that yes, Comrade Jack will be our Prime Minister in a little over 19 days, and because of that, I've now given up complete hope on Canada and have now found my future home:

Our only hope

So I now urge all of my fellow Conservatives to join me in this new "Exodus" to the new promise land, I think that we should elect Harper as our new Moses.....

Stephen Harper should be on his knees kissing Belinda's feet, for the credibility she has brought to the Conservatives, with certain segments of Canadian society.

Without her run for the leadership, and the resultant publicity, Harper and the Tories would be obtaining substantially less support in the polls 20%.

I think this shows how well belinda will do inthe riding.

Younger kids ae normally overwhlemingly in support of smaller parties. They here there parents curse the liberals, the media curse the cons, and cross those two parties out as evil. Which leaves you with 55% of support for parties other then the libs and cons. I don't know if final results are out or not or what ever, but most likely students would mack jack layton PM. The reasoning is simple. Parents hate the liberals, the media hates the conservatives,a nd the only other somewhat mainstream party is the NDP.

The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. - Ayn Rand

Last time I remember Stronach had a huge lead in the province. I think its pretty foolish to say that Stronach is the only reason Harper is at 33%-37% in the polls, it probably has more to do with a good campaign.

Come on.

Look at all the trouble Stephen has gotten into over social issues.

Belinda has certainly helped by providing a a much-needed image of moderation on these issues.

I think Stephen Harper has been very consistent on social issues. He always says that their will be a free vote, now MS I know you wanna live in a left wing dictatorship but its not gonna happen unless Paul Martin or Jack Layton are elected.

I wonder why people heckled reporters at the conservative rally, because they ask the same question over and over again, and the answer is always the same.

Seeing as how there might be free votes in the future, it's important for voters to find out how their local CPC candidates stand on the issues.

My local conservative candidate is touting the fact that the CPC will be introducing more votes, yet he doesn't anywhere on his website indicate how he stands on issues that may come up for free vote...

Sounds like an idea for a new thread...
