I haven't been here for a while either but I'm not really surprised this topic doesn't seem to be of much interest.Personally,I think it should be a hot topic(no pun intended). To my knowledge, there hasn't been much coverage of this story in the mainstream media.Guess this doesn't fit into their master plan or something like that.

Here are some of the juicy bits from the emails:(From Kevin Trenberth,U.S. National Center for Atmospheric Research)"The fact is we can't account for the lack of warming at the moment and it is a travesty that we can't....Our observing system is inadequate."

From Phil Jones:"I can't see either of these papers being in the next IPCC report.Kevin and I will keep them out somehow-even if we have to redefine what the peer review literature it!"

The reaction from global warming....whoops...I mean climate change....yeah that's the ticket, advocates is that they are merely saying there will be a negative reaction from the right wingers.Like anyone who questions climate change is automatically a right winger. Why are they not turning their attention to the source of these emails?Namely, the CRU,or Climatic Research Unit?It appears that the data does not stand up under scrutiny and that the numbers have been manipulated by scientists? Why?

Beware the Brookfield industrial complex...

It is a hot topic. The other thread is 23 or 24 pages long.
