Just when you think this Administration can't get any worse, you have stories like these...

Exclusive: Jobs 'Saved or Created' in Congressional Districts That Don't Exist

Here's a stimulus success story: In Arizona's 15th congressional district, 30 jobs have been saved or created with just $761,420 in federal stimulus spending. At least that's what the Web site set up by the Obama administration to track the $787 billion stimulus says.

Discrepancies on government web site call into question stimulus spending. There's one problem, though: There is no 15th congressional district in Arizona; the state has only eight districts.

ABC News

And

Salary raise counted as saved job

WASHINGTON — The government's latest count of stimulus jobs significantly overstates the effects of the $787 billion program under a popular federal preschool program, raising fresh questions about the process the Obama administration is using to tout the success of its economic recovery plan.

An Associated Press review of the latest stimulus reports — which the White House promised would undergo extensive reviews to ensure accuracy — found that more than two-thirds of 14,506 jobs credited to the recovery act under spending by just one federal office were overstated because they counted pay increases for existing workers as jobs saved

The Bergen County Community Action Program in Hackensack, N.J., noted the nearly $213,000 it received went to cover raises for existing staff only. But it also reported saving 85 jobs.

What a joke. This guy Obama is a bad combination of Slick Willy Clinton, and Tricky Dick Nixon. You literally can't trust a single word outta that guys mouth, or his teleprompter.

Someone hasn't been taking his ODS medication.

That excuse for his incompentence and malfeasance is getting old. It's getting to the point where Obama could walk up to someone and punch him in the face, and if one questioned the incident, it would somehow be characterized as derangement from you and your ilk.

So taxpayers shouldn't be bothered that he's claiming jobs created in districts that don't even exists?

And taxpayers shouldn't be bothered that he's claiming jobs saved or created from stimulus money given to employees as raises?

Get real.

Do you really think it is a good use of Obama's time to be checking everything that gets posted on a website? Please. Someone in the administration should be chastised for being careless, but I doubt Obama is writing these articles himself.

It looks like it goes beyond careless. If the 15th district was the only mistake I would be inclinded to agree, but much of the data provided does not pass the smell test.

Nah. I'm just fondly remembering how you have characterized all criticism of Bush as "anti-Americanism" and BDS and all criticism of Palin as PDS. It's a lame argument, but one you subscribe to wholeheartedly.

Besides, trying to make some typo into a case of fraud is as good a "derangement syndrome" as one will ever find in politics. The blathering right wing has never been more entertaining.

The artical shows that the holes in the data go beyond the so called typo.

I question the credibility of people who would make accusations of fraud for some minor (and honest) accounting discrepancies involving $230,000 in a multi-billion dollar program when those same people would be silent at outright lies and fraud that led the country to war.

It kind of makes you think your ideology trumps your common sense.

Wow only 230,000 but what was being said about the Mulrooney Shriber affair, was it a minor amount of money then, that sum wasn't much different then this.

I could say the same about your ideology and common sense.

Ladies and Gentlemen, your American tax dollars at work. Actually, not even tax dollars, more like $800 billion dollars borrowed from the Chinese, in order, and I quote the Messiah, to put America on a new path and foundation for longterm real economic growth. With this inexcusable waste and abuse?

Barack 'Slick Willy Tricky Dick' Obama has been more irresponsible than any other President in American history, and he's only been in office for a year.

God help us all.

However, maybe I'm being too harsh. Perhaps Bubber is right. Things are going well, the stimulus is working great, and O-BA-MAO knows what's best for all of us.

See what happens when the government is open and transparent Shady? You get to see they make the little mistakes and either find fault with that or thank your lucky starts they are little mistakes and the government is ready to let you see them. This isn't like spending 400,000 in Iraq for a toilet seat we never found out about until 5 years later, this is real time data.

Former Halliburton employees testified that the company charged $45 for cases of soda, billed $100 to clean 15- pound bags of laundry, and insisted on housing its staff as the five-star Kempinski hotel in Kuwait. Halliburton truck drivers testified that the company 'torched' brand new $85,000 trucks rather than perform relatively minor repairs and regular maintenance. Halliburton procurement officials described the company's informal motto in Iraq as 'Don't worry about price. It's cost-plus.' A Halliburton manager was indicted for 'major fraud against the United States' for allegedly billing more than $5.5 billion for work that should have cost only $685,000 in exchange for a $1 million kickback from a Kuwaiti subcontractor..............

After spending more than $4.5 billion on screening equipment for the nation's entry points, the Department of Homeland Security is now 'moving to replace or alter much of' it because 'it is ineffective, unreliable or too expensive to operate.' For example, radiation monitors at ports and borders reportedly could not 'differentiate between radiation emitted by a nuclear bomb and naturally occurring radiation from everyday material like cat litter or ceramic tile

All on the governments dime tell us more about Obama's waste? At least he is wasting it on the US eh?

Their is no "at least" if I was a taxpayer in the US I would demand that the one doing the billing and the person who authorized it in the treasury dept both be charged.

So go after Bush I agree. When does the trail start?

I fail to see how Obama can be defended on his job creation when the big lie is that government does not create jobs in the first place. The single relevant fact is that unemployment has risen to over 10%. He seems so proud of his job creation statistics???

All governments waste money you hope they waste less then more, I am just happy he is wasting it over here so he doesn't have to waste it over there.

Now you're opposed to science research? You would have found it outrageous that Banting was spending money turning dogs into diabetics too.

All research can be portrayed as ridiculous to people who don't know anything about it. Your arguments rely on people being uninformed.

I guess that's not a problem these days among the right wing.

Nope not at all. It's you who seems to be misinformed. I'm all for science research, just don't call it economic stimulus, and put it in a bill that's suppose to save everybody from the worst recession since the great depression. And a bill that's suppose to set a foundation for new real economic growth. And don't pretend jobs are being created when they're not. And don't pretend giving people pay raises counts as job growth.

It's about honesty, and priorities. You seem to have neither.

Yes, all governments waste money - excellent. I think you are neglecting his waste "over there" though.

Syllogism:

All governments waste money.

Like all governments, the Obama administration is spending money over here and over there.

Conclusion: They are wasting money over here and over there.

Simple logic.

Obama's stimulus is his version of our gun registry. Except instead of $2 billion, it's almost a trillion. The news keeps getting worse.

ABC News Exclusive: Obama Admin Slashed 60,000 Jobs From Recent Stimulus Report

The Obama administration, under fire for inflating job growth from the $787 billion stimulus plan, slashed over 60,000 jobs from its most recent report on the program because the reporting outlets had submitted "unrealistic data," according to a document obtained by ABC News.

Recovery Board Chairman: We Can’t Certify Jobs Data at Recovery.gov

The chairman of the Obama administration’s Recovery Board is telling lawmakers that he can’t certify jobs data posted at the Recovery.gov Web site -- and doesn’t have access to a “master list” of stimulus recipients that have neglected to report data.

Earl Devaney, the chairman of the Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board, responded to questions posed by Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., late yesterday to say the board can’t vouch for the numbers submitted by recipients of stimulus funding.

Yes, but this isn't shady cash payouts like with Mulroney. Don't you think it's a little dishonest (or stupid) of you to characterize $214,000 going to people's raises as not "much different."
