JerrySeinfeld Posted August 9, 2009 Report Posted August 9, 2009 lol. I love the new Obama dictatorship. No one allow to object. And if you do, well, your a REPUBLICAN. oooooh. aahhh. So your opinion only matters if you're a. Not a REPUBLICAN? or b. In agreement with Czar Obama? Wow. Did you guys hear about Obama asking for the email addresses of people who disagree withe HR3200? Why? Because they were opposing the health care bill in during "casual conversations"? Wow. I had no idea disagreeeing with the administration or having casual conversations in opposition to them were grounds for building up a database of "dissenters" Wow. And it hasn't even been 200 days. Can't wait for the "fairness doctrine". This guy is completely out of control. He's getting on with it. Quote
waldo Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 (edited) really? who can admit to being a supporter anymore?Colin Powell although... former Bush Secretary of State, Colin Powell, has gone out of his way to distance himself from Sarah Palin... your heroine - the GOP "savior" in waiting. interesting that the current state of the GOP caused Powell to enthusiastically endorse Obama, going against McCain/Palin... or was that just them there coloureds closing ranks as was said, other than the continual surfacing of reprobate Republicans splashing all over the news... or the nutjobs like majority leader Limpballs, Insanity, Loofahman/Falafelman... and the surging wingnut Beck..... what's left of the GOP? There is much "left"....the Republican party has more represenative support than any single party in Canada. Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
Shady Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 Limpballs, Insanity, Loofahman/Falafelman... Other than Rush Limbaugh, I have no idea who else you're referring to. Please speaking english instead of leftwing wacko talk. Thanks. Quote
Sir Bandelot Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 the Republican party has more represenative support than any single party in Canada. Which says more about the American electorate than it does about Canadians. They're either deluded, or desparate. Quote

Could be, but it means the major political parties in Canada are even more irrelevant. Edited August 10, 2009 by bush_cheney2004 Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
Canadian Blue Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 Awe yes, the Republicans. I don't think we can find a party like it anywhere else in the world [unless you're a partisan hack who thinks every centre-right party is on the same wavelength as the GOP]. Aren't the Republicans just the party of Civil War re-enactors, religious fundamentalists, jingoists, and nutters. The fact that a woman who thinks Obama is setting up death panels to kill senior citizens and mentally handicapped children is the top candidate for their Presidential nomination should tell you they're delusional. The better question is whether the GOP will survive by adopting centrist stances or perhaps dissapear altogether. Quote "Keep your government hands off my medicare!" - GOP activist
Shady Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 Aren't the Republicans just the party of Civil War re-enactors, religious fundamentalists, jingoists, and nutters. In as much as the Democrats are just the party of terrorist sympathizers, flag burners, and communist abortion lovers. See. We can all stereotype. Quote
jbg Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 there are only two types of people left in the republican party: (1) certifiable wingnuts, and (2) paid staffers I am not in the Republican Party. In the U.S. it has never been safe to count any party as dead for long. Rumors of the demise of the G.O.P. after even Watergate, Nixon's resignation and their drubbing in the 1974 election were greatly exaggerated. Just ask Jimmy Carter. Will the steps anyone is proposing to fight "climate change" reduce a single temperature, by a single degree, at a single location? We can all stereotype. Even though I am a radical leftist as well as a Democrat, I am none of the above, except I do favor legalized abortion in some instances. bush_cheney2004 Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 .....The better question is whether the GOP will survive by adopting centrist stances or perhaps dissapear altogether. Of course the GOP will survive.....this ain't Canada. Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
Canadian Blue Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 (edited) In as much as the Democrats are just the party of terrorist sympathizers, flag burners, and communist abortion lovers. Difference being that flag burners aren't considered the "base" of the party. Sarah Palin who thinks Obama will personally execute old people and mentally handicapped children is the leading candidate for the Presidential primaries. The nutters have obviously taken over.
