punked Posted August 20, 2009 Report Posted August 20, 2009 America produces and delivers more health care than Canada. But it does not do so for its own citizens. Quote

punked Posted August 20, 2009 Report Posted August 20, 2009 ...yes, and for Canadian citizens too. Yep while 22,000 Americans die every year it lets Canadians jump the boarders to jump the line and screw everyone with out money. Doing nothing is not an option. Quote

Doing nothing is not an option. What's true is that those with "money" are usually the less moral people..those willing to harm others to profit - so if we keep the money people alive and let the poor good people die - then eventually - we will have a race of only evil people - and then they will be withoug us to eat - and will eat each other _ I say go for it - because eventually you might just run out of human blood to drink. eyeball Posted August 20, 2009 Report Posted August 20, 2009 Americans have been so systemically beaten down by the iron fist of Darwinian capitialism - that they are conditioned to believe that they don't have a right to life unless they are rich I think this is both sad and true. I think this gullibility must stem from the same capacity to suspend disbelief that religion cultivates. Quote A government without public oversight is like a nuclear plant without lead shielding.

GostHacked Posted August 20, 2009 Author Report Posted August 20, 2009 http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/08/20/hea...info/index.html Another article that sums up my sentiments about how these town hall meetings quickly turn into uncivil uneducated meme shouting matches. Just like this thread has become. Not a fan of Tom Daschle, but he does make a good point with "It's hyperbolic, it's fear-mongering, it's actually politics at its worst," Daschle said Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press." "That's the kind of thing that generates the kind of anger and fear and anxiety that people have today." Quote
punked Posted August 20, 2009 Report Posted August 20, 2009 So what kills those homeless and dying people in Vancouver? I agree another problem we must solve. I don't see why you keep turning away from the arguing and pointing out things I agree with. Yes we have problems we need to solve Health care is even one of them but we have at least started the process for a better future. Doing nothing should never be an option on problems so big. Quote

I can do whatever I want. Doing nothing was an option for such a long time but with 1 person in the US declaring bankruptcy every 30 becuase of Health Care it has become as much an economic problem as anything else. Doing nothing is no longer an option. Quote
