U.S. captain freed in rescue operation

...would be impressed if you opened up the doors to this nation and brought in 59 thousand of them to displace Mexican illegal workers - at least you could keep an eye on them seeing they all look like twins - Toronto has a ton of these tribes men - and they all look EXACTLY the same..

There are far more Somalis in the USA than you could ever know about.

Not so cheap....HALO insertion requires aircraft, and SEAL Team training is very expensive.

Yes, a HALO training needs aircraft, but not those expensive ones Robert Gates wants to cut off...

One Arleigh Burke class DDG cost about $800 million USD, with more expense for Aegis System upgrades.

But the only positive function of Arleigh Bruke class DDG in this action is its 10,000 tons ship hull did contribute sufficient stability for snipers aiming their targets.

If earth is not a ball, Aegis system will be more usefull in this operation for locating hundreds of pirates mosquito boats around hundreds sea miles at one time.

No problem.....China is happy to pay the check.

If the CPC boss(, Japanese PM, and Arabian Kings, etc.) didn't require some president after Obama to pay back the check someday, I'd like to suggest him to borrow some PLA to substitute the expensive pentagon... :P

Yeah, sure it was. *cough* bullshit *cough*

You deny that people like Limbaugh and Hannity weren't blaming Obama for the pirates and saying he deserved no credit for the rescue?

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/04/14/b...y_n_186613.html

Hannity was bent out of shape, it seems, by the way the Obama White House had been "taking credit" for ending the standoff, which is strange because I don't remember a "Mission Accomplished" banner being hung or any inordinate deal made out of the matter, save brief statements.

Don't you even watch FOX?

Do you need a printed transcript to believe things There is one in this link.

Or, you can simply click the link that shows the Hannity broadcast.

In any event, you are lying again as you always lie.

Don't you ever feel humiliated when you are either caught in a lie, or proven wrong when you call other people liars?

It was on Hannity last week where he blamed Obama for the escalation in pirate attacks and for leaving the American ship without escort.

Please post references actually related to what you said. You stated that Sean Hannity blamed Obama for the escalation in pirate attacks, and I quote, "for leaving the American ship without an escort." To which I replied, *cough* bullshit *cough*.

You didn't post anything even related to your claim from last week. So I'll give you another opportunity. Again, I'm calling bullshit on your claim that Hannity blamed Obama for leaving the American ship without escort.

Don't you ever feel humiliated when you are either caught in a lie, or proven wrong when you call other people liars?

As I've already stated. He didn't prove anything wrong. He didn't even post anything related to his claim. And no, I don't ever feel humiliated, because as of yet, I've never been proven wrong. Go ahead. Make my day.

You've always been proven wrong, but you are you are too frightened to admit it. You also must be refusing to read the transcript of Hannity's show, because it's all there in black and white. Instead, you just disappear each time your pants are pulled down, as you will again.

He just can't seem to get his head around the fact that FOX and conservative talk radio were saying just how impotent Obama was and that the escalation was a result of Obama letting the pirates have free reign along Somalia's coasts. Hannity called Obama non-committal according to the link already posted and the conservative blogosphere was blaming Obama for the captain being recaptured by not authorizing a rescue.

I haven't bothered to post the Glenn Beck histrionics because I'm not sure it can even be classified as real. It was comedy that I was saw.

Someone uploaded FOX's response in the last days.

Look, it's quite simple. Post something relevant to your accusation of Hannity blaming Obama for not providing the American ship with an escort. YOU SAID SEAN HANNITY BLAMED OBAMA FOR NOT PROVIDING AN ESCORT FOR THE SHIP. Just admit that you made it all up, and we can all just move on. If not, please post something that's specific to your accusation, not Glenn Beck, or Rush Limbaugh, or anyone else. We're all still waiting. *Cue Jeopardy theme music*

Please site one example of me being proven wrong, because I have no idea what you're talking about.

Redirect. The point that the right wing media jumped on this and hoped for the president to fail stands. Regardless of who said on the right said it unless you willing to admit that Rush, Newt, most of fox, are all wrong and Hannity who got schooled today on this issue is the only you are willing to argue for.

Here is my favourite and most recent Shady lie

"That's complete and utter nonsense. New York went for Obama by 30 points, and that so-called Republican district went for Obama by 4 points. You have a popular President, who endorsed Scott Murphy, and they ran ads on radio and teleivision broadcasting that fact. And what did it get them? So far nothing. In fact"

Yes Shady a republican losing an R+4 district is some how a win right?

Hate to break it to everybody but Beck and all are talk show hosts, not news media. And, profess to be nothing more, even Left Wing host Alan Combs doesn't pretend to be nothing more than a talk show host. On the other hand, O'reilly professes to give in depth analysis and does with a fair degree of impartiality however, it is not news, just interactive entertainment. At the top of every hour, Fox does provide news reporting which is just as accurate (or inaccurate) as any other news agency.

Don't know how many links or transcripts he needs to see to believe that.

FOX Network was broadcasting that Obama was to blame for the attack and Hannity was one of those believing he Obama deserved no credit for rescue and was noncommittal prior.

The Conservative blogs were howling at Obama for not authorizing a rescue. You can see how this blog has had to climb down from that stand.

http://www.blackfive.net/main/2009/04/how-...e-happened.html

FOX News has tried to bury Obama's part in ordering deadly force.

http://www.newshounds.us/2009/04/12/fox_ne...rate_rescue.php

Rush Limbaugh attacked Jonah Goldberg for crediting Obama.

http://rawstory.com/news/2008/Rightwing_pu...rates_0413.html

Hannity completely disagreed that Obama had anything to do with the rescue.

The various links already up show that FOX was blaming Obama for not providing security for the American flagged ship.

Nope. Fox News is news. Talk show hosts on Fox News are just entertainers like Oprah, Dr Laura etc. They host phone in shows where people can give their viewpoints and should not be confused with a news show as they do not profess to report rather, they purport to discuss and analize events and politics. That you confuse entertainment with actual news reporting is concerning to a certain degree as you seem to represent a good percentage of many misinformed people who are unable to discern between opinion and actual factual news reporting.

You can get your news from Fox herre.

You can get podcasts of Glen Beck (not a news caster but a talk show host) here. Similarly, you can google O'reilly (also not a reporter rather a talk show host) as well as any of the others. For a complete Left Wing spin on politics and news you can google Alan Combs who also is not a reporter on Fox but rather another talk show host.

Ok so when I go to Glen's website

http://www.glennbeck.com/index.php

and it says things like "Current events", "Top story" "Major Headlines" what it really says is this is the crap I just made up and pretend is news? Sounds like fox to me.

That is correct. However, that is Glen's site, not Fox. So, you will find articles that Glen feels advances his show and, his POV. Some of the articles may come from him, columnists or even people who have written him but, it is not news from Fox News. I should like to add that this is rather puzzling that you didn't know this.

Here is the actual link to FOX NEWS (not to be mistaken for Beck's opinion show)

Jdobbin

Not really. As you say it is an entertainment channel. Even the news is slanted against the Democrats. It is the station of the right.

It is a news channel that also has opinion shows such as Beck and all. Just as CNN has Larry King. As for being the station of the right, can you provide actual news comparisons that we can see side by side with say CNN news reporting?

The fact that Hannity on his radio show last week was talking about how Obama had made the U.S. less secure. It was all over conservative talk radio and FOX News about how Obama let the ship be subject to attack and they mocked him for bringing in a FBI negotiation team in. The question was asked many times "Where are the marines?" And why the ship was not protected.

There podcasts of Hannity are illuminating.

Big bad dumb pirates - probably all of 18 years old who have never seen a flush toilet...shooting monkeys with guns is no big deal...If the so-called civilized world were civilized they would have fixed the Somali situtation years ago - killing a few guys in a boat like sitting ducks is no heroic feat...as for calling these people animals - shows a humanly disconnected attitude. Do you call all people in absolute poverty animals? IF you were a teenager - say on the east coast of Canada and your older uncle invited you to make money at the seal hunt you would go - The Somali pirates are the same as Newfoundlanders......the seals are just bigger - the size of ships!
