guyser
Why not let us all judge for ourselves? Well, why not read this from Liam, for the second or third time? "Liam said-'2. The LA Times received the tape from its source on the condition that it not be released, but that the LA Times was free to report on it." Liam
The inability of McCain supporters to respond to the facts about Obama and Khalidi is a fairly damning conclusion that the Khalidi incident was little more than another product of the GOP shoot-first-aim-later slime machine. Case closed.

The difference is, if it was a McCain revelation given to the Times with pre-conditions, the Times would agree to the terms in a heart beat, then put it on the front page the next day. One more time, Obama's choice of friends and acquaintances are fair game, and the most damaging part of his history, even more than the lack of experience. That's why the Times won't release it. They grabbed the tapes with the sole purpose of making sure they stayed under wraps. And reasonable people are taking notice of the new levels the MSM has sunk. They grabbed the tapes with the sole purpose of making sure they stayed under wraps. And reasonable people are taking notice of the new levels the MSM has sunk. The Times already reported the story months and months ago. They even published Obama's statement found on the video. Now you're railing against them for not reporting the same story when there's no story. Khalidi is a noted scholar and professor. Obama said some kind words at his faculty going away party. Numerous people of all faiths (including Jews) have come forward in the past week or more to say that Khalidi is not an anti-semite. I know you want there to be a scandal here and, finding none, are ready to keep flogging the "well, if it was John McCain" line. Whatever. Reporters protect sources of both parties. If you don't believe that, go take it up with Woodward and Bernstein. But you want to play the guilt by association claim? OK, when is Sarah Palin going to be outed as a lesbian? She has said one of her best friends is a lesbian. Therefore, by your logic, since she associates with a lesbian she must also be a lesbian. Right? I believe this was a failed tactic in 2004 wrt Vice President Cheney's daughter.

If it was McCain they would have 'leaked' the tapes plain and simple. And one friend does not make one a bird of that particular flock. If Palin had 5 or 6 gay friends, then one would know she had gone out of her way to associate with that particular group, and right wingers would call her a gay sympathizer, or some other silly name. Obama does have associations with several people of the radical left wing. This makes him something he keeps insisting he is not. His actions betray him.
