Topaz Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 Dion raised the question to Harper and after the first question on this, Van Loan repeated the same answer, with giving an answer. I tried to find the story and had to go to the Liberals' website were they have printed the people involved in the case. I'm sure the newspapers and other news websites will also print it. So IF this is true and Election Canada says it is, what does that say about this gov't? That's its no different than others? Partly, but I think it comes down harder on Harper when he preached so hard on how corrupt the Libs were. Makes one wonder if they didn't try to pay off one Con for another. Quote

What are you exactly talking about? Dion raised the question to Harper and after the first question on this, Van Loan repeated the same answer, with giving an answer. Could you rephrase this in conventional english? Quote RIGHT of SOME, LEFT of OTHERS If it is a choice between them and us, I choose us
Topaz Posted October 23, 2007 Author Report Posted October 23, 2007 What are you exactly talking about?Could you rephrase this in conventional english? When it comes to elections, parties have to stay within a certain amount of money in their spending, what Dion was asking Harper why they try to hide the fact they over spent which is against Election Canada law, by 1.2 million. Van Loan, kept saying the same thing over and over. Harper did say to Dion to say the same thing outside of Parliament and Dion said the Lib. party wasn't saying this, it was Election Canada accusing them of it. The person in charge of the spending is now working for Harper and they want to guy to step aside until it thoroughly investigated. Quote
Fain Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 They shouldn't cap the money a political movement can spend to promote itself. Quote
