US wants to Spray Afghan Poppies

That is an idea. But you would still need soldiers to protect them from the Taliban for accepting US bucks and from the Druglords for not growing opium. Not to mention, everyone would start growing opium.....

Here is an article on the subject

http://www.iht.com/articles/2007/10/14/asia/poppies.php

From what I read they are paid 40 -50 dollars a kilo

But then that was also on the CBC as they filmed the Taliban /farmers

It comes down to realizing the world seems to use a lot more than the Turkish licenses seem to provide , hahhaha

I know of growers who get 1600 a lb from biker gangs and yet would take 100 to be able to not be growing in your basement

Of course we should just open the doors to Chinese wheat and really put our farmers under based on the type of reasoning we hear here.

You do of course realize the ingredient that was killing our pets recently has also been found in our pancake badder ,,

Poisened wheat gluten from china.

No need for us to be importing wheat from china is my point.

Thanks mdancer

Good Point. Let me know when we do.......

Meanwhile, Canada exports around 2 million metric tons of wheat to china.....

Canadians are to blame too! We ship it there, they poison it and send it back...if we would stop sending it, they'd be too busy trying to feed themselves to have the time to be dropping poison in our dogfood. If I were a dog, I'd dogcott China and Canada both.

You forgot about lead paint in baby toys. Should we stop sending them lead, or paint?
