Believing in the idea of the "strong to rule" can have bad consequences. It implies that only the strong should survive and that weaker individuals should be left to struggle and possibly fail. This kind of thinking is reminiscent of Adolph's dangerous ideology. One day, I was at my friend's house and noticed that his dog was having trouble climbing the stairs. My initial thought was to let the dog struggle and figure it out on his own. However, my friend had a different approach. He went down the stairs and started motioning with the dog to come up. He did this three times, and on the third try, the dog finally made it up the stairs. This experience made me think about the dangers of such thinking. While it may seem logical to let the weaker struggle and hope they make it in the brawl of life, it's important to remember that helping others is needed. The lesson learned from my friend helping the dog that day extends beyond just pets; it's a reminder that ALL HUMANS have a tendency towards this kind of thinking, and one must actively work to resist it and try to chose different approaches. It is true also, that sometimes, you need to let one figure it out by themselves, finding out when to assist seems to be the key. Sometimes too much assistance can also hurt, if one does not want to push themselves too. Timing is everything, is my estimation.
