Believing in the idea of the "strong to rule" can have bad consequences. It implies that only the strong should survive and that weaker individuals should be left to struggle and possibly fail. This kind of thinking is reminiscent of Adolph's dangerous ideology. One day, I was at my friend's house and noticed that his dog was having trouble climbing the stairs. My initial thought was to let the dog struggle and figure it out on his own. However, my friend had a different approach. He went down the stairs and started motioning with the dog to come up. He did this three times, and on the third try, the dog finally made it up the stairs. This experience made me think about the dangers of such thinking. While it may seem logical to let the weaker struggle and hope they make it in the brawl of life, it's important to remember that helping others is needed. The lesson learned from my friend helping the dog that day extends beyond just pets; it's a reminder that ALL HUMANS have a tendency towards this kind of thinking, and one must actively work to resist it and try to chose different approaches. It is true also, that sometimes, you need to let one figure it out by themselves, finding out when to assist seems to be the key. Sometimes too much assistance can also hurt, if one does not want to push themselves too. Timing is everything, is my estimation.

I try to remember this story when I get into preacher mode, we all get into the preachy mode, don't we?! I do, anyways, sometimes this story works for me, and sometimes it does NOT, and rant anyways. 😄 More often, I rant. --- There was a student once sitting on a bench eating 2 different chocolate bars and drinking a big bottle of Coca-Cola. An elder approached him and said: "Young man, don't you know those are bad for you?" The youngster, a sharp person, who was not having a good day, replied back: "Sir, do you know why my grandfather lived until 90 years old?" The elder replied: "Did he avoid the chocolate bars?" The youngster replied: "No." The elder replied: "Did he avoid Coca-Cola?" The young man replied: "No." "So what, then, how did your grandfather reach 90?" the older fellow said. The reply from the student was: "He minded his own business." 😄 😄 😄

This is a good thread to do before heading to bed. I bashed enough Christianity on this board, might as well do a positive thread. Always good to share when things like this happen. Today someone sent me a video. The video was of an Eastern European priest. As soon as I seen the cross, the robes and that substance that they throw in the air to bless the air, or whatever they do, as soon as I seen those things, I went to delete it. I did not delete it, so I allowed it to play, allow me to translate the story: Priest says: I heard once a story about a group of devil's advisers debating on how to hide the secret of life from the human being. One devil won the argument: We need to hide it somewhere where the human being can not find it. Where? The voice replied: We need to hide it in their soul, rarely they look there, as human beings like to look for the secret of life through outside things. ---> The priest finishes his story with the conclusion that peace and the key of life are found in the soul (inside of us, not outside). Once that is settled, then the rest will come. --- This made my day. It also made me realise, yet again, that if I fall into tribalism and shut people off just because I perceive them as having nothing to offer, sometimes I can end up missing valuable messages. I am glad I did not delete the video today.
