Toronto - A community is sounding concerned after a number of attacks by off-leash dogs on school property outside of school hours, at least one of them resulting in serious injuries. A group of students were at the school playing when an off-leash dog approached them and bit one of the students in the face. Full Article: https://www.cp24.com/news/community-urged-to-use-extreme-caution-after-boy-mauled-by-off-leash-dog-in-schoolyard-1.6401411 My understanding there is a bylaw in place, the Poll question is: Should the practice of allowing dogs to be off-leash near school premises be classified as a criminal offense?

This was in the early 2000s. Have had enough of politics for today and I just remembered this story. I finally arrived at my friend's home after a long day. I was looking forward to relaxing and enjoying a delicious steak dinner while debating and arguing world issues as 2 average Joes. As I entered the apartment, I noticed a strange sensation on my face, it was as if tiny, furry little creatures were tickling me. I walked into the living room, I suddenly realized what was going on. The entire apartment was covered in a thick layer of cat hair. It was everywhere. I tried to ignore the hair and focus on the steak, but every time I took a bite, I felt a hair in my mouth. As I sat there, trying to enjoy my meal while dodging the floating cat hair, I couldn't help but be annoyed. I had always been a dog person, and this experience confirmed my BIAS, that definitely Dogs are my preferred pet. 😄😄😄 Cats or Dogs?

I didn't know where to start this, but hugging your pet produces oxzytocin which calms you and is healthful so here it is. I know I love my pets and love sharing pics, and thought some of you might as well. Here are a couple of my dogs Talo, Lily , and Tie.

In 2005 Dalton McGuinty, with the help of attorney general Michael Bryant instituted Bill 132 or DOLA. You may not care about dogs, and that's alright. What you should care about is your constitutional rights as Canadians, because this law doesn't. This law allows not only police but any peace officer under EXIGENT CIRCUMSTANCES to enter your home without a warrant. It also restricts your constitutional right to travel freely in Canada with your pet. It also removes responsibility from ownership. Exigent circumstances 14. (1) Where the circumstances in clauses 13 (1) (a) and (b) exist and it would be impracticable to obtain a warrant because of exigent circumstances, a peace officer may exercise any of the powers of a peace officer described in section 13. 2005, c. 2, s. 1 (16). https://www.ontario.ca/laws/statute/90d16
