  1. While Israel and its mouthpieces try to distract the big elephant in the room, by repeating ridiculous distracting arguments like: "They will not accept Israel as a Jewish State." - like anyone is obligated to do so - we are now decades into the Israeli occupation. The realization of a Palestinian State continues to move further away. Especially with the always increasing illegal settlers in the Palestinian territory, which are over 620,000 now. Despite the song and dance to the international community, Likud's official platform has been to never allow a Palestinian State and Netanyahu, in 2015, running for re-election, vowed that there would be no Palestinian state on his watch. Security is another excuse given for the foot dragging by Israel. Here is an article that looks at Israel's unwillingness to allow a Palestinian State: what explains Netanyahu’s opposition to Palestinian statehood? We can only find an answer to this question by widening the scope of our enquiry, and accepting the unpleasant but undeniable fact that opposition to Palestinian sovereignty is a position that has been shared by every single Israeli government, and remains so today, across the political spectrum.
  2. Canada has always been a loyal ally to the U.S. But is there a limit to this loyalty as Chretien once demonstrated? Will too much loyalty to America kill and terrorize more Canadians for no justiafiable reasons? At first I was of the attitude "Kill all those damn terrorists" until I read this article and realize that if some foreign troops invaded and occupied Canada because our leader refused to turn over Canada's oil fields for pennies on the dollar, we'd also be pissed off. And if we came home from work one day and found our home smoldering in flames and our spouse and kids charred black like coal from some stray missile, we would also be outraged and called "patriots" to seek revenge on the barbaric bastards responsible for the war crime. So today my opinion is a little more objective. Read this and see if your truly disagree or if you are just trying to be politically correct or a false patriot http://www.globalresearch.ca/prime-minister-stephen-harper-and-canadian-war-crimes-in-afghanistan/24473 This is why IMO Harper has helped to increase terrorism in the world today. Real terrorism must be stopped, but drones impose terrorism from 30,000 feet and Harper implicitly condones this by unconditionally supporting American policies in Afghanistan and Iraq. http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2014/nov/24/-sp-us-drone-strikes-kill-1147 The UN and 57 countries have agreed that drones = terrorism and the war in Afghanistan is illegal. So should Canada really be fighting America's illegal war? Before you answer just think about how fairly America has treated Canada on past lumber and trade deals. Do they really deserve such unconditional loyalty or do we have the right to say "No Thank You" once in a while?
  3. Despite the great resistance by the ultra-nationalistic zionists, who have battled in every way possible to prevent the recognition of a real and legitimate Palestinian State, slowly but surely, things are changing. Google has now recognized the state of Palestine. Google is de facto recognizing a state of Palestine - at least on its local home page in the Palestinian territories. Google spokesman Nathan Tyler said Friday "We're changing the name 'Palestinian territories' to 'Palestine' across our products." He said Google consults with a number of sources and authorities when naming countries and is following the lead of several international organizations. The move comes after a UN decision last year upgrading the Palestinians' status to "non-member observer state." Link
  4. On March 6th it was reported that “Israeli forces have sprayed Palestinian homes in the village of Nabi Saleh with Skunk as a punishment for organizing weekly protests against the Apartheid Wall built on occupied land. Human rights watchdog B’Tselem published a showing Israel’s armoured tanker trucks fitted with “water canons” [spraying] the foul fluid.” It is reported that the Israeli forces also targeted all the houses of the village with the liquid formula. A B'Tselem report pointed out the effects of this 'Skunk' spray included causing environmental damage. B'Tselem has reported that this non-lethal weapon has been added to Israel's armoury for crowd control, even though the video shows clearly that it is also used against Palestinian-owned property.
