I think the laws are fine the way they are. In this day an age, the younger generation with the Internet is very sexually aware. I never found out about sex till I was about 16, lost my virginity at 19. For me, even at 19, I was naive. It really comes down to how mature you are and what kind of respect you have for sex. My parents never told me about the birds n bees, I kind of learned it by sneakin a peek at dad's girlie mags and pornos. He never really did hide those well at all. It is different all over the planet. Some US states have the age of consent 13 or 12, cannot recall which ones. Even some European countires have similar laws as Canada. There should be a standard across the board though, I agree on at least that much. Actually, raise it to 16. If you really want to avoid alot of turmoil, be active in your children's life and let them know what is up. An educated kid will make smart decisions later in life. You can really make all the laws you want, but parents should know what their kids are doing. Some are mature enought to handle it, some arent. I think this may be the argument they are trying to put forth. But just imagine, 120 years ago, a father would marry off his young daughter (12? and up) and he would give a chunk of land to them to live off of.

When was Al-Qa'da founded?
GostHacked replied to chrisparker's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
I didn't know that the Nazi's were so in bed with Islamic extremists. I guess they were both anti-semetic eh? Either way, I feel somewhat less intelligent by reading this. A core part of my soul has eroded. GM and Prescot Bush liked the Nazi's to. -
Guess that would depend on the size of the trucks. Some flat bed military vehicles can carry 10,000lbs. Dump trucks (short box) can carry about 5000 to 8000 lbs. Some larger dump trucks can carry twice the above. Makes sense you would need about 15 to 20 trucks to carry all that gold out. So 9-11 was a bank robbery is the summarized theory? Not yet. it was just a response to your Q about what would be needed to haul it all off. not impossible, and it would be a priority to move that right after the first plane hit 'just in case'

Lets leave the Iraq invasion out of this for now. Let's look at things leading up to 9-11.

Before you start medling in banking and things like that, I suggest you do alot of reading on it because its as complex of system as you can get. Enron never had the money, it didn't disappear, it just simply didn't have any money. You should see the clever accounting methods businesses can use (unethically). Don't necessarily blame the accountants either, they can only work with whats given to them. Most 'cash' going through the WTC was in non-tangibles, though there was a considerable gold despoit in the basement yes. It wasn't an attack on money for sure. It's not like countries walk in with some gold or cash to deposit. Most large-scale trade between countries isn't conducted in straight currency. Bush's tax cuts were made on a Laffer curve argument I think, the same mistake that Reagan made. Correct me someone if I'm wrong. I think the on-hand gold and silver at WTC was no more than 1 Billion. It's not a lot of cash in the big scheme of things. This theory doesn't fly with me. I agree. But there is a difference in currency and the gold. The gold is constantly and slowly going up in price. The US dollar is not really going anywhere. What would be worth more at that point? Gold where it goes up all the time and physicly holding it somewhere. Or the ever sliding dollar. Also it is 1 billion in tangeble assets. Steeling the greenbacks won't amount to much.

What do you think a Theory is? A work in progress. It won't become fact unless the digging starts. I have dug, and I do not like what I see buried. Sometimes you do not even have to dig that far.

Perhaps the following will aid your determination to find out the truth. Two Interesting Pre-911 statements "We are on the verge of a global transformation. All we need is the right major crisis and the nation will accept the New World Order." -- David Rockefeller, Chairman of Chase Manhattan Bank (now J.P. Morgan Chase bank) "The process of transformation.. is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event - like a new Pearl Harbor." -- PNAC (Neo-con Project for a New American Century) document sigh...The history channel had a show on specifically 9-11 and how and what caused the buildings to fall, including detail schematics on how they were built to drop down instead of tiping over. Theres no conspiracy as to how the buildings fell. No bombs planted in the building. I saw the footage as it happend, its clear that two planes hit the buildings. Now if the Arabs who were flying the ariplanes were hired by the CIA or NSA to commit suicide then by all means have your conspiracy theory. Even if you do not want to ask it, what if the CIA had knowledge of the event but did nothing about it. If you do not want to at least explore the possibility, we are done here. I am willing to explore other avenues, I know some roads I have taken will lead to dead ends. But this should not stop me from asking more questions. At first I was looking at suspicious things about the towers falling. Then I disregarded it for it does nothing to support the case I want to make. What brought the WTC buildings down is really irelevant at this point. The question you need to as is why they were brought down.

What I am starting to see..... It is a slow cascading effect that was planned and came to fruition on 9-11. Even the date itself has always ticked something in the back of my head. 911. This is an emergency, on a national (and eventually global) scale. Insider trading. US corporations laundering drug money to finance other stuff. Major banks and other high rollers shifting money to offshore accounts. We know that the WTC had a good chunk of gold/treasury in the basement of the towers (or something like that in the complex) Lots of money flows through this place. Enron + Anderson Arthur. Downfall of one of the largest US energy companies. Money is lost and people lost their jobs and now have nothing to show for it (401ks not honoured by them) Where does this money go? Someone lost the money, who gained the money? WTC was the place where Aurthur Anderson called home. There was warnings of the attacks. (who planned it I have no real idea yet) One documentary about 911 indicated that the treasury was on the move to another location within the WTC complex. As far as I know, it has been all recovered, or has it. Where would they move it to? Now what about that money. What about all the other countries that dealt in the US Dollar and had large investments in the US economy. This was the reason WTC was created. Down the street from the NYSE and close to other key economic facilities. All the other countries who has invested in the US are probably out of alot of cash that cannot be accounted for. Little suspicious now that you think of it. Put options put on the airlines, money moving to offshore accounts, Lotsof cash moved hands Something to chew on : Soon after 911, war plans were underway (even before 911) to invade Iraq. How do you pay for this war after all sorts of tax cuts have been made for americans. Little cash flow going back to the government from the people. Where is your money going? This is a very important question. Energy companies monitored by shady accounting firms. These accounting firms trade that money invested by the energy companies on the stock markets. The money goes POOF. Follow the money trail is what I am thinking. Can't wait till Burns and BHS get ahold of this one. I have more things to connect. But this is the start of it. This is a theory that I have, nothing more. I am still gathering information.

Basicly what I am starting to see is that 9-11 was the hugest bank hiest ever. I will work on this a bit, more soon.

Iraq's WMD Secreted in Syria
GostHacked replied to Shady's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Well, I hate to break it to you, but even Iraq admitted to possessing WMD. Anyways, I don't understand some people's logic. Apparently it's easier to believe that Bush lied and went to war for Israel, Oil, and Haliburton, and that every decision he makes relates somehow to the "military industrial complex", was really the one behind 9/11, but for some reason, no one can allow their minds to open up a little to imagine that WMD may have been transported to Syria? Hello? Earth calling idiots? Do you hear yourselves? LOL Just wondering after 10 years of sanctions, two NO FLY zones, US aircraft/spy sats ect had a good view of the area. Do not tell me it slipped under the radar. But we do not see any photographs of suspected sites from the air. This would just be another attempt by the US to put preasure on Syria. Just like they are doing with Iran. This is what Bush had to say about it http://thinkprogress.org/2005/12/15/wmd-irrelevant/ -
Out of all the video I have watched, and got lots from Google Video, there seems to be indications of explosives or controled explosions at the 3 buildings. Some video shows plumes of smoke being ejected horizontaly below the colapse line. Several videos I have seen seem to support this. But I am looking for more raw footage to support this claim. Part of me thinks the towers colapsed just due to the unique design of WTC 1 and 2. But for WTC 7, there was no outside damage to the building, but yet there were fires and the building went straight down. I am sure all you may think I am crazy, but this is why I wanted more evidence. I cannot support the bombs in building just yet. There is some compelling footage out there. I guess I am looking for a smoking gun.

Trying to avoid those sites like the plague. Looking for something a little more genuine.

Hey all. I am asking a favour from any of you who might have pictures or video footage of the World Trade Center attacks. Some of you will bite my head off 'oh noes conspiracy', but relax I have not come to any conclusions yet. I am still testing this theory. Basicly I am looking for your pics/vids of the events of that day. I am testing a theory out. Send anything you have that might be of interest to [email protected]. I do not mean to open up old wounds, but something is not sitting well with me about that day. Thanks all.

I am a non practicing agnostic. Yeah god is just a myth created to bring people together. Also it could be just a tool to scare people and to have some kind of control over them. Religion is (imho) for the weak. Find truth, justice and morality from within.

Iraq's WMD Secreted in Syria
GostHacked replied to Shady's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
They will probably find Bat-Boy before they find Iraq's alleged WMD's. (For those conspiracy theorists who think the "mainstream media" is biased away from the profit motive) This is about as plausable as Iraq having WMDs in the first place!! Thanks for the laugh dude -
Ahhh here is the end of this thread. I skipped over about 8 pages of the same old crap. I support gay marriage. It does not infringe on your religious rights. If you think it does, it is because it is all in your head. Consider the following. Repeal Gay rights. Repeal womens rights (equality and voting) Repeal blacks non slave status. When each of these events happened, the religious cast was quite angry on each of these topics. All this is as dumb and retarded as not letting a woman get in the upper ranks of the church (catholic for example) If religion treated everyone with equality there would not be this mess. So religion in my view is nothing but bigotry. Ther church does not even recognize a woman as an equal. I say charge the church, throw them in jail for hate crimes.

Prime Minister Harper Should Dismiss Frank McKenna
GostHacked replied to tml12's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Firing McKenna is retarded, he has done well in Washington and should be kept on. Harper should keep him in that position. WTF?? Manning? I am your new Ambasadoooooooooooooorrr. -
well after 12 years od liberal rule, this may shake things up a bit. I am against Harper winning really. I am also ashamed of myself for not voting. I totaly forgot about it which is dumb considering how much I read here. I would have voted NDP. I know they won't get a minority let alone a majority, but they do provide a good balance to the overall government. So in this I congratulate Harper on his win. Protips : - Please do not touch the GST, it's a cash cow for the government, and when it comes down to it, the GST was just an increased hidden tax in the cost of goods anyways, so now things are priced less, but tax more. Before it was little high on the price but little tax. Overall it costs the same. - More money into health care would be nice. Wherever it is needed. The above can really buy us a kick ass EFFICIENT health care system accessible to all. - Leave the gay stuff alone. It's done. - Don't let Quebec and the Bloc wall all over you. Seperation = treason .

Harper's inexperience - this is serious folks
GostHacked replied to emailforcanada's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
At a time when many observers said that Harper's own unpopularity hurt his party or that he would never win an election, I think taking some time off to decide whether he was really the guy to lead the party shows (1) introspection and (2) a willingness to consider the party's welfare ahead of his own aspirations. In other words, two qualities completely foreign to Paul Martin Jr or Jean Chretien. So I suppose it's not surprising that a young Canadian such as yourself would wonder if that's a proper way for a prime minister to act. -k If he questioned his own leadership for even a moment, he is not the man for the job. I am old enough to know that this so called Conservative party is just another way of saying, Oldnewconservativesreformedandalliancedintoanewfreshconservativeparty. Proper way for a PM to act? Well first off they are human. But showing weakness is not an option. Out of all the PMs in the past that I have taken note of.. I would say Trudeau was how a leader should act. I have not really liked a PM since. Martin I would not vote for myself. I have voted NDP all my life, and will continue to do so. Not that they will win any election soon. Actually when it comes down to it. I really do not like any of the options proposed to me. Conservatives, Liberals, Bloc, NDP all cater to a specific part of the population. Show me a leader who can unite us on all fronts and I will gladly put an X on his/her name. -

Harper's inexperience - this is serious folks

How the hell can anyone take Harper as a serious leader when just after loosing the last election he was ready to throw in the towel. Is that a quality you look for in a leader? -
US Trade Rep Might Challenge Canada's Media Laws
GostHacked replied to YankAbroad's topic in Canada / United States Relations
Then stop buying it if you do not like it. Easy. Looks like you ARE paying for what you don't want. Cancell the service is quite easy.Find a new service that gives you what you want. Stop complaining and just go to a different company. You have the choice. And we all know the courts voted in favour of Canada in each of these disputes regarding lumber with the US. -
The GST was just a hidden consumer tax before. We have been with the GST for this long I say let it stay. The burden would get shifted from one to another. How would you be able to take care of your family (Canada) when your personal income has dropped drasticly. If you did not pay taxes my friend. You would not have, clean drinking water, maintained roads (even to drive on in the winter) Heath care, public services..... I should not need to go on here If there were no taxes, you can bet your ass you would not be able to afford 1/4 of the luxuries you have now. Mulronony was hated for more than just the GST.
