  1. us? Isn't that sort of the point of the bill? And why are you against replacing feminism with a more equal term?
  2. And women can identify as sons.
  3. Sons is not inclusive because it is a gendered term. Feminism is not inclusive because it is a gendered term. Yet you identify as a feminist instead of a humanist or an egalitarian.
  4. Petyr Baelish, the Red Priestess, Davos, Olenna. He is black of hair and supposedly looks like his father. Everyone knows that the queen ordered the killing of Robert's bastards. The blacksmith can probably testify that people like Jon Arryn and Ned Stark came to visit. Also, once Tommen dies, succession will become complicated. Someone claiming to be Robert's son with the backing of major houses will seem quite reasonable. But there is the official will of Robert Baratheon, which has conveniently ambiguous wording.
  5. Yet it's enough for Tommen to sit on the iron throne. Seems pretty powerful. The Reach due to marriage with Margery, not to mention all the people in Flea Bottom who had their booze taken away by the faith militant. Plus the Vale + Riverlands + North due to Littlefinger.
  6. Do you have a better suggestion? God isn't going to keep Canada free. Conservatives praying to god to keep Canada free will just end up letting the SJWs take away our freedom, be it freedom of speech or whatever. God keep our land sends the message that the population should be complacent and lazy, rather than proactively fighting for freedom.
  7. On what basis do you think Rona Ambrose supports an anthem change? Believe it or not, it's possible for women to be conservatives. The majority of women in Saudi Arabia support the ban on women driving. Those are provincial issues.
  8. 'In all thy sons' is not gender neutral in much the same way as the word feminism. Neither are inclusive. Too bad conservatives can't support a more inclusive national anthem.

      scribblet

No reason to change it.. too bad Liberals using ill health of an MP to promote this. If changing our anthem was so important to the Liberals they could have introduced it as a gov't bill & avoided this spectacle

  9. Of course. Men are all mutants and simply are defective women. Why else do you think we have to drug so many young boys up with ritalin in order to make them behave properly in school?
  10. Gendry Baratheon and Queen Margery will sit on the iron throne... next season.
  11. I see no Gendry in the preview.
  12. Perhaps we should move towards non-segregated prisons as well. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/police-trans-jail-1.3621420
  13. I'm really not exaggerating. Feminists complain all the time about lack of female representation & negative portrayal of women. There is basically zero way a poster of 1 person strangling another person would be acceptable to them.
  14. But then they would be complaining that there is lack of female representation in the movie poster. And if it was a female choking a male/female, they would have complained that the movie portrays females as violent and evil, thus reinforces patriarchy. All roads lead to patriarchy for SJWs.
  15. But isn't part of the movie series about equality between non-mutants and mutants? You and your mutanophobic comments!
  16. In the Ontario referendum, I spoiled my ballot because it only gave 2 options. I'm sure others did as well. A ranked ballot referendum is better.
  17. Wonderful progress being made towards better empirical estimates of the social cost of CO2 emissions. https://judithcurry.com/2016/06/07/assessment-of-approaches-to-updating-the-social-cost-of-carbon/

  18. I've already explained why. Threatening people's lively hood for having the wrong opinion, is wrong, harms marginalized people, and results in an echo chamber where only the 'correct' mainstream opinion gets expressed. Saudi Arabia has that approach. You can be atheist in Saudi Arabia, but you will end up in jail getting lashed if you aren't killed. I know why. So taking the classical liberal position that people should be equal under the law and the best person should get the job is a distasteful microaggression that is divisive for society. But taking the mainstream SJW position that people should be divided up based on race & sex and be discriminated based upon this somehow isn't divisive, nor racist nor sexist. Makes perfect sense... Hey, while we are at it, why not just get rid of anonymous voting? After all, we want people to take responsibility for their political opinions!
  19. Men are 3 times as likely to be murdered, 3 times as likely to be assaulted with a weapon, over 2 times as likely to be victims of aggravated assault. But it's violence against women that society has a problem with... not men. Images of men being violently assaulted to advertise a movie = okay. Images of women being violently assaulted to advertise a movie = bad. Got it.
  20. So Argus' plan is to alienate all potential allies who might not be super fond of the country being run by SJWs like Trudeau... Good luck with that.
  21. I guess Big Guy wants his safe space where he can avoid unpopular opinions.
  22. Many of the top youtube atheists chose to start their channels anonymously, such as TJ Kirk and Carl Benjamin, and I think there was a reason for this. Atheist beliefs are still not well accepted in society, although things have improved over the past 10 years. Many women writers in the past used fake male names in order to get their work published and accepted in society. LGBTQIAP people often discuss issues anonymously online due to potential backlash. There are all sorts of marginalized groups that can discuss things due to anonymity, and you want to take that away from them...
  23. By 'responsibility' you mean be fired for expressing a dissenting opinion? And maybe anonymous posters already avoid saying certain things, in real life, where people will fire them for having an unpopular opinion.
  24. But Lancel has the gods on his side. So he can't possibly lose! Plus he is the main witness to Cersei's crimes, such as murder of Robert, incest, adultery, etc., so he might want to defend his honor.
  25. I do think that there is a decent possibility that Sandor will eventually get revenge on his brother, but I don't see it happening in the trial by combat. The main reason for this is 'plot armor'. If the mountain loses his trial by combat that means Cersei would die way too soon, even before Tommen dies. Not to mention how it would affect Qyburn's story line and Jamie's story line. Tommen has to die before Cersei dies. Maybe the Sand Snakes will assassinate him. Once Tommen dies, Margery will no longer have a reason to stay in King's Landing, so she will return to high garden and marry Littlefinger's gift (Gendry), and then Margery will be able to claim the iron throne again. Of course after Tommen dies, as Jamie is no longer king's guard, I think that he is heir to the Iron Throne now due to some distant Baratheon relation, so Jamie might claim the iron throne. This will also fit in better with the story line in the North. Once Petyr defeats the Boltons, he'll become Warden of the North and he'll join Sansa and liberate the riverlands. At some point it will be difficult for Petyr to remain in good relations with the Lannisters/Crown, but fortunately for Petyr Tommen will be dead by then so the Lannisters can't take away any of his titles. At which point Petyr will align the North/Riverlands/Vale with the Reach/Stormlands and support Margery/Gendry on the iron throne. As Gendry and Margery are both popular with the common people, they might be able to defeat the high sparrow and take back King's Landing. Petyr aligning the North with the Reach would also help fit in with Sam's story line. Around this time, Daenerys will be landing in Westeros with her Dothraki/Unsullied/Dragon/Ironborne/Mercenary army, probably in Dorne, although maybe in the Reach/Stormlands. If Cersei is dead by now (maybe Jamie kills her before she tries to burn down king's landing with wild fire), as Jamie and Bronn still have good relations with Tyrion, the Lannisters will likely side with Daenerys. I think Dorne will side with Daenerys, but it may require regime change first. Not to mention Pentos and perhaps other Free Cities like Lys (due to Varys connection) and Volantis (after being invaded) will support Daenerys. Although Bravos and the Iron Bank will likely support the North due to their loan to Stannis and relationship with Petyr. Things seem to be leading up to the creation of two massive factions: North/Wildlings/Riverlands/Vale/Reach/Stormlands/Bravos vs Westerlands/Dorne/Dothraki/Dragons/Unsullied/Freecities/Ironborne, which will engage in a massive war to control the iron throne. This will also give us Littlefinger vs Varys. Towards the end of the war the others will break down the wall and start heading south. Eventually the 2 sides will agree to peace due to the others and come together to defeat them. As for Loras, I meant that he will fight for himself against the accusations that he is gay. He will fight against the 7.
