Trudeau welcomes diversity as long as the diversity matches his personal beliefs-
Employers being forced to sign government attestation over sexual diversity if they want funding from summer jobs programThe attestation in full says: “Both the job and the organization’s core mandate respect individual human rights in Canada, including the values underlying the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms as well as other rights. These include reproductive rights and the right to be free from discrimination on the basis of sex, religion, race, national or ethnic origin, colour, mental or physical disability, sexual orientation or gender identity or expression.”
The government says it will not even process an application that does not include the attestation. The online version of the application can’t be submitted unless the box on the attestation is checked off.
Whether you like it or not, whether it i relevant to your workplace or not, you MUST AGREE.

It also says that you have to agree with the values of the charter. And the charter's preamble contains 'Canada is founded upon the recognition of the supremacy of god'. That comes before everything, even rule of law and the part of the Charter that supposedly gives us freedom of speech. So if you are an atheist, the attestation also goes against your values and beliefs.

Have all the "rational" lefties left the forum? I mean, there used to be a few - right?

The decision by this forum to get rid of post editing has been a failure. It's scared off a lot of former posters, makes discussion more limited, and reduces new membership (why would someone join a forum with no post editing). That might have something to do with lack of political diversity on this website.

JT has lost an average of 9% Approval Ratings in the past year.

I'd be willing to vote for Bernier. Not voting for Scheer though.
We also don't see a massive swing in the opinion polls since Scheer won due to the Anti-Abortion people and Dairy Cartel.
We also see that a lot of people in the Conservative Party have left and joined the Libertarian Party. The libertarian party has over doubled its membership since Bernier Lost.

The Paris Agreement requires that Canada gives billions of dollars to countries that kill gay people. That is appalling.
-
It goes to a pool and then some of the countries that get money from this pool will be countries that kill gay people.

If I'm making $20 an hour, why would I demand a raise because someone else got a raise from $11 to $15? Perhaps instead I could be happy that they were more able to avoid taking subsidies from government or not reduced to feeding their kids junk food because decent food was just a little too expensive.

I understand the true values of Canadians because I'm 4th generation Canadian; my great-grandparents came from the UK and the Ukraine to settle this country.
