Of course not, harper gets no thanks for whatever he does. How the left dumps on every move is disgusting. Harper could have a plan to pay all debts and give everyone a million dollars and the left would whine, cry and bytch about it. And probably take him to court. There is something I wonder how much the NDP has spent on witch hunts . It seems every couple of weeks, on a back page of a newspaper is a story of another aquittal, of another witch hunt.

It seems harper will get his deal and without giving them money. One leftie commentator said it was like canada is a mansion and EU is a bungalow and the EU guy comes over and says we are in trouble and we need a few bucks where harper says no. Which the commentator says is rude and arrogant. I would say it is the EU in the mansion and us in the bungalo and the EU comes over and says ,we have been living large , partying everynite and I am broke ,so can you give us some money to keep the party rolling. And we were correct in saying no. The EU needs some tough love right now.

They had a idea ,threw it out there and made the proper decision. That is leadership.

He did come out and say giving bailout money to europe is a bad idea, going against the thinking of the lib party. He is making his move and it is a smart one.

What is really sad is the prisons we have now. Funny how the left that just loves the poor misunderstood thug, has no problem with these people living in brutal conditions in our 100 year old jails. No wonder people come out more screwed up, then when they went in.

Federally the NDP would be a disaster, sure they had a few not to bad premiers, that I would say are different then their federal cousins. The dutch thing was blown out of porportion and even dalton has backed down from it, and of course the dutch have done well since thier problems. And I think OPEC will agree to anything to stop canada from selling oil to the world.

The pipeline company needs to show us that they can get alot better at what they do, right now they are thier worst enemies. And canadians will make that decision, not BC'ers.

New report out( have not seen it) that says longer time in jail helps keep crime down. But what I would see is 3 step jail. 1st- you go in for a medical and treatment, health and addictions, then you go to building 2 and get a education, then building 3 ,the cell to finish your sentence and think about what you have done. Murder and rape , the hole.

Rick you seem to have the same type of thinking as the europeans do, let me tell you something, the euros are broke and are going to be for along time. And I and many others do not to go that way so you can get what entitlements you think the goverment owes you.
