I think Ottawa should put their money where their mouth is, and give more money. I think it should be 50/50 cost sharing between governments. Provinces also should have the right to set up their own social programs to suit their province, the federal government doesn't know the needs and demands of each provnice.

Trudeau did give us the constituiton to his credit. But he did also give us the HUGE deficit during the great recession of the 1980s. He made MPs into "nobodies". He didn't let Newfoundland have the natural rescoures that they had off-shore. He said it was a part of Canada, not Newfoundland. In 1980, he only won 2 seats in the West, (and there were Manitoba, in franchone areas).

Marriage should be between a man and a woman. Society has always been based on that. If that falls, whats next, multiple marriages at once between 4 people? I'm also against people getting marriage beliefs for wed-lock.

There's no choice. We have to be dependent on the US. The "Third Option" of trade (trading with different middle east and asian countries can't support what the US trades with Canada per year. America is dependat on us too. We need our oil, wood, beef, electricity. Did you know that Toronto imports electricity from New York? It doesn't come from Niagara Falls. Actually, during the Great Summer Blackout of 2003, my town didn't lose power. We were in the thick of the area that lost power, and we didn't.

America's policy is taking from outside the country. Then when that fails, start using within the country.

How come Paul Martin greeted George Bush so gladly, but in the election, he said he was anti-American. He has no choose but to sign the Star Wars missle system treaty. It's just like NORAD, but only involving more dangerous weapons.

The American system is held up by Canadian doctors and nurses. If we weren't there, the Amercian health system would collaspe. I think we should offer tax incentives for anyone look into the medicial profession.

It is basically one party control in Alberta because the Cons won all but 10 seats in 2001. I think. the last time Alberta elected a different party to governemtn was Harry Strom of the Social Credit in 1968. In 1971, he was defeated by Peter Lougheed of the Conservatives. Ralph Klien did to Alberta like what Mike Harris did for Ontario. He transformed the economy. Made cuts to services that needed to be done.

America just spend more money than the Soviets. Russia couldn't compete with America and went into heavy bankcrupty. That isn't winning. Plus Reagen armed America with alot of nuclear missles that USA didn't really need. But I see the principal behind him making all those weapons. He sold some of them to Iraq and Iran during their little war.
