Atlanta is most definitely very strong Democrat territory. So is Houston. I guess Shady doesn't understand that.

It does demonstrate (again) the stupidity of allowing people to sell memberships just before an election vote. You should be required to be a member in good standing of a party for at least a year before voting in a leadership or candidate election. Otherwise you get ethnic and religious groups, like the Sikhs who elected Jagmeet Singh, or in this case crazy anti-vaxxerers able to take over a party.

That's the way I see it too. There ae very few conservatives left, and they are keeping their heads down because Trump and their base are no longer conservative. All they seem to care about are sticking it to the 'libtards' and forcing everyone to have the same religious beliefs and sexual mores as them.

Given all the state Republican governments seem committed to doing their best to limit voting rights to make it harder for urban dwellers and minorities to vote I see a direct link between the number of Republican state governments and the success of the Trump party at the national level.

The Republican Party is against traditional Republican policy. Otherwise they'd have lowered the deficit rather than raising it.

Actually, the Lincoln project is Republican. I know you find that hard to accept but there it is. They're Republicans who still believe in conservatism.

He became infuriated over the China topic, accused me of spreading hate about Chinese even though I was very careful to talk about the Chinese government and present all kinds of articles which were clearly about them and their actions both abroad and here in Canada. I suspect the argument over moderation was caused by that for he disappeared about then.

Saskatchewan, like all western provinces, has a much higher percentage of natives, too. And they have been resistant to getting vaccinated. The rate of covid infections among first nations is twice what it is for the rest of the western provinces.

Watching brainless Trumptards protesting at hospitals, barging into stores and restaurants to harass people and yelling at parents taking their little children to school would turn anyone into a hater. Btw, members of the military are required to get a bunch of vaccinations before every overseas posting, too.

People do things for their friends they don't do for others. They include their friends in things they wouldn't include others in. There are any number of occasions when it would be very, very helpful to this country to be the US's best friend in the world. There are none where we are better off being more distant.
