Canada to bring over 20,000 of the world's most rigid, backward, brutally misogynistic Muslims to live in Canadian cities. Welcome to Canada, guys. I was one of these guys too worrying about Syrian refugees when they came here. Turns out they haven't caused much trouble at all, many of them have become successful in their domain, some are less successful. But in no way we felt threatened in Canada.
The same thing will happen to Afghanis who immigrate here. I happen to know some, and they are really not like the Taliban they in fact fled.

Most of the Syrians are still on welfare. Afghanistan is far more primitive than Syria was, and its religious/cultural values are centuries further back, as well.
As for those who helped us - agreed. These are not them. These are not the translators and such. I mean, how many of those do you think we had anyway? Maybe a couple of hundred plus their families.
