The US is far weaker then it was vis-a-vis the rest of the world then it was in the 70,s.... actually the US is fast approaching bankruptcy and are currently permitted to delay their collapse thanks only to the condescending generosity given them by such trading nations as Japan, India, Japan etc... The mental logistics of the game are also dissimilar. Hockey is similar to football in how it leads an attack. on the ice, you learn that every player is a "field general" or quarterback... And we all know how quarterbacks are majority whites in the NFL. The statistics on single mother/father raised kids and adopting families are anything but encouraging.
