When you say "the Bloc has a base of 30 seats those won't be going anywhere" you should be more respectful and say the truth: that there is 30 regions in Quebec that want to part company from Canada.

Governing Canada when Quebec is about to declare its independence is not very exciting though.

It is not a reason to forget about these seats.

Analyzing polls shows you where you have to be convincing but not very much about how to be convincing in there.

I know my post here will be difficult to swallow but I have to say at this point that the basic electoral rule ("one voter, one vote") is fundamentally a vote slitting rule.

The expression "head of state" is used to imply that this head can roll off.

What you underestimate or overlook is the power of morality to overthrow a state.

I think you have a self-defeating approach against MrCanada's argument: Is he not paying for the road leading to your house? And more importantly, is he not freely choosing to pay by not choosing to work less?
