  2. Were you this upset about the hundreds of thousands of people killed in Syria? Or how about Sudan?
  3. Israel has too much land?
  4. The Republicans have massive obstacles to overcome if they are to have any chance in November. https://thefederalist.com/2024/06/19/dems-claim-they-arent-importing-an-electorate-but-these-5-examples-indicate-otherwise/ https://thefederalist.com/2024/06/19/democrat-fixer-marc-elias-firm-steps-in-to-stop-disastrous-election-system-fix/
  5. If a person who happens to be well connected to the president takes millions of dollars from China, wouldn't that person fit the definition of a 'China slut'?
  6. Like Obama agreed with the annexation of Crimea?
  7. By your own reasoning, why didn't the West go after Stalin when he annexed much of eastern Europe? Stalin was at least as bad as Hitler.
  8. Case by case basis. Going to war with Hitler was the right thing to do. Trump was very successful against ISIS if you'll recall. ISIS does not have nuclear weapons...yet. Compromise may be the safer option sometimes. Biden seems to want to enable Iran, while Trump wanted to contain them and make them an international pariah. You guys are all over the map. You want to go all out against Russia while at the same time restraining Israel in their fight against Hamas.
  9. It was Trump that was very critical of Germany's energy deal with Russia if you'll recall. The US could have supplied them with natural gas but Germany said no.
  10. That is NATO vs Russia which is WW3. What is the objective? Does NATO only attack Russian forces on Ukrainian territory or should they attack deep within Russian soil? Is the goal to reach Moscow and capture Putin? You are aware that they have nuclear weapons right? Then there is the question of what China is going to do. They will not stand idly by. No offense, but you really haven't thought this through. As for the Palestinians coming here, it's a certainty that they are going to cause nothing but trouble. You and others keep failing to answer why others in the region, notably Egypt and Jordan, refuse to accept the Palestinians.
  11. I would rather have Canada sending more military aid to Israel instead of Ukraine. I also think it's a terrible idea to bring any Palestinians over here since they are just going to cause more trouble.
  12. So it's about getting US hands on all that energy? Here I am, an average conservative guy, thinking that more effort and pressure should be directed towards ending the war, while you, the far-left guy, are cheering safely from the sidelines for a war that has no end in sight. Call me nostalgic, but I prefer the more peaceful time when Trump was president as opposed to this costly, escalating conflict under Biden.
  13. The question is, what does victory look like for Ukraine? Zelensky isn't going to gain back the territory already lost to Russia and Putin won't give it back either. Neither side has the might to defeat the other outright so they are left with a stalemate. Incremental gains and losses with no end in sight. How long is the Biden administration prepared to keep on funding this war? If you believe them, they say 'as long as it takes'. It's extremely costly for the West already. Biden is helping to prolong the war while Trump says he wants to end it ASAP.
  14. Maybe that's part of the problem. Too many people only voting for their own interests.
  15. I have seen this story too. https://nationalpost.com/news/canada/here-are-the-80-mps-set-to-qualify-for-a-pension-with-the-help-of-a-liberal-rule-change I asked my Liberal MP (Francis Drouin) about this a few weeks ago. No reply, not even an acknowledgement that he received my email. I don't use profanity or anything like that so there should be no reason why he wouldn't reply, but based on my experience, if he does not like the subject matter of the inquiry, he will ignore it.
  16. I've known of Dershowitz for a long time. He's a well known defense lawyer and taught law at Harvard, and also has tons of experience in constitutional law and criminal law. I didn't watch the OJ trial because I was at work. And I'm not a lawyer by the way. I will try and refrain from using childish insults (like Douchowitz) against anyone simply because I disagree with someone.
  17. How do your legal credentials stack up against those of Alan Dershowitz?
