The Democrats are gearing up for November. Do not underestimate them. https://thefederalist.com/2024/07/08/meet-the-shadowy-left-wing-nonprofit-harvesting-voter-data-to-juice-democrat-turnout/ In an era of U.S. elections where ballots — not voters — are the favored currency, nonprofit voter registration has become instrumental in determining which candidate comes out on top at the ballot box.

What is you opinion on career Politicians?

Hey, guess what the Liberals are exploring now? Reparations? -
Good to see the UK get back on Track!

I don't think there will be much difference except that Labour will likely be even worse than the Conservatives. They will stick with mass immigration for one thing. Five pro-Palestinian MP's got elected. Some Muslims in the UK voted solely on a Muslim related issue. How about that? https://www.standard.co.uk/news/politics/labour-muslim-areas-mps-palestine-independents-london-general-election-results-b1168968.html -
Why would anyone have questions about Biden's mental state? https://thepostmillennial.com/biden-campaign-sent-questions-to-radio-hosts-ahead-of-recent-interviews In one interview, Biden stumbled over his words and mistakenly claimed he was proud to have been “the first black woman to serve with a black president.”

Speaking of elections, the Republicans are trying to pass the SAVE Act. Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act to be more precise. They merely want people to have proof of American citizenship if they want to vote. Sounds perfectly reasonable to me. Who would want to oppose this? The Democrats. https://thepostmillennial.com/democrats-scramble-to-oppose-gop-backed-bill-requiring-proof-of-citizenship-in-federal-elections One could almost get the impression that they are going to try and cheat.

There is a case for Joe to remain in the race. Hunter Biden's revenue stream. -

Gavin Newsom's name comes up a lot even though he's running California into the ground. But someone else brought up the point that if he does step in, Kamal Harris is also from California. Not to mention how bad it would look if the Dems parachute in a slick white man ahead of Harris. This won't go over well with the party that wrote the book on identity politics. It's also been suggested that they could try to get her on the Supreme Court as a reward although that seems like a difficult proposition. I know I'm the pessimist in here but I still think we shouldn't underestimate the size of the Dems bag of dirty tricks that they will use prior to and on election night.

Will there be a second debate?

https://pjmedia.com/matt-margolis/2024/01/25/fani-williss-collusion-with-biden-white-house-may-soon-be-exposed-n4925826 Willis previously refused to provide the necessary records and documentation. There is also evidence that she coordinated with the partisan January 6 Committee. In December, House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan revealed the existence of a letter dated December 17, 2021, from Willis to Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) requesting access to congressional records and offering to have her and her staff travel to Washington, D.C., to "meet with investigators in person." According to an invoice from the Law Offices of Nathan J. Wade, he met with members of the partisan J6 Committee in the spring of 2022. Willis is alleged to have had an affair with Fani Willis, who appears to have hired him and paid him more than other attorneys despite his lack of experience with RICO cases. Bank records indicate the pair likely misused funds by traveling together to San Francisco, Miami, and Aruba, with tickets purchased under her name. Willis has since refused requests from House Republicans to disclose her and her crew’s contacts with the partisan J6 Committee. -

You're suggesting the DOJ isn't being pushed by the Biden administration to go after Trump?🤨 No collaboration at all? -
Will there be a second debate?
ironstone replied to Fluffypants's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
For this first debate, Biden's team along with CNN laid out all the pre-conditions, perhaps hoping that Trump would refuse and ask for some concessions. He called their bluff and it paid off. Who knows if the Democrats will now try and ensure that Trump actually has to go behind bars? -

Isn't Cenk Uygur also a presidential candidate?😅 -
Most people agree that Biden had a poor performance in the debate. Being a good debater is not the most important thing for a president although it most certainly helps to sway voters. Joe had lots of time to prepare for this debate and still he repeatedly faltered and looked lost at times. Is this the man that Americans want at the helm in times of crisis? Can he fully comprehend what's going on when under pressure and he's surrounded by advisors?
