  1. While I think it would be a mistake for the Trump team to specifically bring up how Kamala's personal relationships with powerful men may have helped her rise up the political ladder, it is the height of hypocrisy that nobody on the left batted an eye when there have been numerous prominent people on the left, Democrats and media talking heads made repeated Trump/Hitler comparisons. Has there ever been another person in politics that has endured a non-stop barrage of vicious personal and legal persecution as has been directed against Donald Trump? The answer is no.
  2. I'm rather shocked that you admitted this. But in a way, you're also defending it at the same time, the usual 'nothing to see here folks, move along' attitude. It is Republicans that want to clean up the voter rolls to ensure election integrity. It is the Democrats that fight tooth and nail against that. https://www.thestar.com/news/world/united-states/conservative-groups-are-pushing-to-clean-u-s-voter-rolls-others-see-an-effort-to/article_1df81dcb-97cb-5bb1-863c-27f762d1b76d.html Those behind the reviews cast them as good government endeavors intended to help local election offices clean up the rolls. Voting rights groups and Democrats believe the effort aims to shake faith in the results of the 2024 election and lay the legal groundwork to challenge the results. Here is a look at what’s happening around voter roll challenges: States already must maintain their rolls “Soles to the Rolls” in Michigan, whose name echoes the “Souls to the Polls” get-out-the-vote efforts of Black churches, and Nevada’s Pigpen Project are among state-level initiatives in which volunteers are trying to find flaws in state voter rolls. Their findings can sound ominous: dead people or non-U.S. citizens registered, or people listed at addresses where they no longer live, suggesting the potential for double-voting. Conservative activists identify the suspect records, then deliver them to local or state election offices for possible removal. Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, a Democrat, earlier this year told a suburban Detroit clerk to reinstate the registrations of about 1,000 people who had been removed through such an effort, after the purge was reported by The New York Times Conservatives found names that shouldn't be on the list...the Democrats in Michigan promptly reinstated the names lol.
  3. Just how far left is Harris? "What can be, unburdened by what has been" Does that mean she'll go full on AOC if she wins?
  4. There was a reason for that. She knew her campaign had no traction and never any momentum. Not even in her home state.
  5. That's going to be one line of attack for her, that she is the tough-on-crime hard nosed prosecutor going up against the 'felon' Trump. Truth is, she wasn't really tough on crime. This is the same person that helped organize bail for BLM/Antifa rioters while saying they shouldn't stop what they're doing.
  6. Their website is still up. As is the yellow donate button on the top right. They're still begging for money from suckers.
  7. This is a surprise, BLM isn't happy with Kamala being anointed as the Democrat presidential candidate. And this after she was so supportive of their burning and looting!
  8. We have had mass immigration for many years, and we have also had a serious problem with health care and a housing shortage. Very long wait times in health care, and millions of Canadians without a family doctor. And it's highly debatable if ethnic enclaves are a good thing. Some cultures assimilate better than others. The melting pot is preferable to multiculturalism. https://financialpost.com/news/canada-standard-of-living-faces-worst-decline-40-years Measuring a country’s growth can be contentious. Measure Canada’s gross domestic product by aggregate and it doesn’t look so bad, but measure it by person or per capita and it’s dismal. For example, between 2000 and 2023 Canada had the second highest rate of aggregate GDP growth in the G7, but one of the lowest growth rates per person. When a country has had a population surge as Canada has, economists say measuring by person gives a better picture of its standard of living, and according to a new study by Fraser Institute that standard is headed for its biggest decline in 40 years.
  9. What are the benefits of mass immigration? I can't think of any ways it benefits Canada and the same goes for any other Western nation that also embraces that policy.
  10. If I had a dollar for every time you insert 'FOS LIES' in your responses...
  11. At this time, Harris is the presumptive nominee. I wonder what kind of experience and knowledge she has in the area of foreign policy?🤔
  12. That is horror movie creepy lol.
  13. When it comes to immigration and deporting illegals, there is a massive double standard. Obama deported more people than Trump but progressives didn't bat an eye. They were perfectly fine with it. It's not 'what', it's more about 'who' when it comes to criticizing politicians. Please spare us the nonsense about a supposed coup.
  14. Progressive spin at it's finest! Unlikeable Kamala merely has 'personality challenges' while her Republican opponent is repeatedly compared to Adolph Hitler. I agree that this is a very serious challenge for the Republicans because the majority of progressives are afflicted with 'shiny object' syndrome. All they care about is that Harris is a woman and person of color. Little else matters to them.
  15. This has been kind of obvious to a lot of people for the last few years now. Even very recently, Biden supporters were claiming he's some kind of dynamo behind the scenes and 'the best he's ever been'. They were hiding his decline and lying about it until they couldn't. Simple as that.
  16. That potential poor turnout wouldn't have anything to do with Joe's cognitive decline would it?
  17. Question for the leftists, why are more prominent Democrats telling Joe to step down? What is the specific reason?
  18. I would judge Biden and Trump by their respective records in office. How was the cost of living under each president? Which one had the border more under control during his term? Which one had the more peaceful term with regard to military conflicts? Are the Taliban and ISIS bolder and stronger now or not? As Iran cheerfully races towards acquiring nuclear weapons they are stronger than ever, are they not?
  19. When that is taken into consideration, he did pretty darn well right up until Covid. Compare that to the career politician's current record. A porous border, proxy war with Russia, very high cost of living, a more aggressive Iran...
  20. I think August is right, it's mainly our massive population growth that hides the real picture. https://www.bnnbloomberg.ca/business/economics/2024/07/19/population-growth-masked-canadas-recession-like-economic-backdrop-rbc/ Though Canada’s economy is not technically in a recession, economists say it “feels like one,” given the current economic circumstances, as high population growth prevented an economic contraction. Nathan Janzen, RBC assistant chief economist, and RBC economist Carrie Freestone said in a report Wednesday that as per-person output is declining in Canada’s economy, population growth “prevented outright declines in Canada’s gross domestic product (GDP).” The report notes that this is occurring alongside unemployment rate increases that would be expected in a typical recession. “Higher interest rates alongside decades-high inflation in 2022-23 ate away at household purchasing power. Weaker demand spurred a rise in the unemployment rate of a size that historically only happens in recessions,” the report said. “But decades-high population growth has masked this recession-like economic backdrop. Canada has added 2.1 million additional consumers since mid-2022.”
  21. Are there any members of the Squad old enough that were also born in the US?😄 Seriously, they have such a weak bench.
  22. I would put it another way, Joe collected the most ballots of any presidential candidate in history.😉
