  1. Did you even bother to read the link? I think not. How about a link from the CBC? https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/online-harms-hate-crime-sentences-1.7128596 The Liberal government is proposing "draconian penalties" in the Criminal Code as part of its sweeping plan to target online hate, the Canadian Civil Liberties Association warns. Justice Minister Arif Virani tabled the long-awaited bill earlier this week, billed as a way to address dangers that children face online. It also includes the introduction of stiffer penalties for hate offences. The bill proposes increasing the maximum punishment for advocating genocide to life imprisonment, and allowing sentences of up to five years in prison for other hate propaganda offences. The national civil liberties group says higher sentences risk chilling free speech and also undermine "the principles of proportionality and fairness" within the legal system.
  2. I think that was more about doing what was best for the 'Biden family business'. We all saw Biden's cognitive decline. Stumbling to find the right words, incoherent at times. It wasn't something we liked to see as it can afflict many people as they age. But the White House staffers lied about it, as did the mainstream media.
  3. I guess Singh, like Trudeau, is prepared to sit back and watch as Canada flounders. Trudeau may be hoping that Canadians will see him as the only one to stand up to big bad Trump while Singh is looking at the calendar with regards to his pension day.
  4. https://nationalpost.com/news/politics/liberals-harmful-online-content New Liberal 'online harms' bill to make online hate punishable up to life in prison It also amends the Criminal Code to create a new standalone hate crime offence that would allow penalties up to life imprisonment to deter hateful conduct, as well as raise the maximum punishments for hate propaganda offences from five years to life imprisonment for advocating genocide.
  5. The political left should really try to raise the bar for ethical standards. At least to get it off the ground. Stephen Guilbeault and Cycle Capital should be a huge scandal for the Liberals, but as usual, the media ignores it. No mention of it on cbc.ca.
  6. If Trudeau and the Liberals pass the Online Harms Act, Canadians could face life sentences for posting the 'wrong' comments on social media. The UK is pretty bad as they have constables arresting people for their social media posts. Progressive governments pose the biggest threat to our liberty.
  7. And on the other side, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, NPR, Hollywood plus most major daily newspapers all shilling for the left.
  8. More legislation passed is not necessarily a good thing. That often means more regulations, more red tape. Of course nobody would want to bring up border security under Biden. Or involvement in foreign wars. Or the 40 year highs in inflation levels. Kamala Harris stated she would not have done anything differently from Biden and that resulted in a Trump landslide.
  9. Why do you think that and what did he accomplish? Americans were worse off during his term.
  10. The West also has some leverage in Gaza in that they could stop funding the Palestinian Authority and UNRWA(funding Hamas) but they don't use it.
  11. Anybody need a nice new watch?😀 https://gettrumpwatches.com/
  12. Unfortunately there are sometimes insults flying back and forth in here but don't you think that comment crossed a line?
  13. A lot depends on who the shooter turns out to be and whether it helps or harms the leftist media narrative. As an example, look how long information was suppressed regarding the Nashville school shooting because the shooter was transgender. Another perfect example is a shooting that took place in Kansas City after the Superbowl.
  14. I'm not offended by Trump's joke. If you pick your candidates mainly because of DEI that's your right. There is no getting around the fact that Harris was not a good candidate. Most Americans thought so too. Nobody has been able to name any notable accomplishments by VP Harris to date.
  15. Trump was clearly making a joke while Trudeau's comment was just plain insulting. To this day, the federal Liberals have never had a female leader.
  16. I don't believe this story but what kind of person makes fun of others who suffer from incontinence? It's something they can't control that affects a lot of seniors and it's very embarrassing for them.
  17. Harris did not lose because she is a woman. She lost because she was not a good candidate. She was a DEI vice president, Biden said as much.
  18. Years ago, former Conservative Bev Oda got raked over the coals in Parliament and by the mainstream media for a glass of orange juice that cost 18 dollars where she happened to be staying. So yes, this 70 grand food bill for for a Liberal entourage is fair game.
  19. Such a foolish and hypocritical thing for him to say. Trudeau promotes women because of DEI and not merit. And we know he does not tolerate women standing up to him.
  20. Conservatives may ask, male or female? Progressives counter that there are dozens, perhaps hundreds of different genders. And they are all fluid. 🙄
  21. Funny how you guys are always going on about the Russian boogeyman but don't blink an eye when Justin Trudeau publicly states how much he admires Communist China.
  22. How come the federal Liberals have never had a female leader? The NDP and Conservatives have although they deservedly never gained any traction with the voters.
  23. You keep referring back to Covid for some reason. It was a challenge that was new and unprecedented in modern times. There were many accounts of politicians not being held to the same standards as the general public. Trump relied on the advice of Anthony Fauci who is almost a God to progressives. People were censored for even suggesting that the virus originated from a lab in Wuhan.
