Eurabia, A Pigment of the Fevered Imagination?

What does that have to do with anything? Try to focus on the topic. -
The Abortion Debate in America - A New Ambivalence
ScottSA replied to maldon_road's topic in Moral & Ethical Issues
Do you know what it's like to kill someone? What if that's what abortion is? Does the list of inconveniences you list above really matter in the face of that? -
Eurabia, A Pigment of the Fevered Imagination?

One is not the other, and given the relative differnces in b/rs for Muslims vs nonMuslims, the two are probably divided accordingly. -
Eurabia, A Pigment of the Fevered Imagination?
ScottSA replied to M.Dancer's topic in The Rest of the World
Well, that simplistic view suits your opinion, so it's not surprising that you choose it, but you know very well that the occurence of Mo as the second most predominant name in London is exceptionally significant. Not to mention all the other new Jihadists not named Mo. -

Why are you ignoring the distinction between London and Britain? -

So how would he "distort" that fact without just making it up? Wouldn't it be a good guess that he was talking about London rather than Britain? What would that fact tell you about demographic London, and what implications vis a vis rural/urban demographics would it mean Momo? -
Scientists Find A DNA Change That Accounts For White Skin

Any point in asking you to try to justify your ridiculous attempted correlation here? I mean, I'm pretty much both of them by most liberal standards, but I know a good many people who don't fall under any definition of "racist", yet are assimilist. I also know "racists" who are not assimilist. Because one belongs to one group hardly entitles them to membership in the other. Since the two concepts are almost polar opposites, I'd be very interested in hearing your response. -

Perhaps Steyn was refering to London, or perhaps your source is wrong. Either way, I'm sure Steyn didn't just make it up. -
I imaging you must be drunk to engage in this kind of silliness, and I barely know where to begin, so suffice it to say: 1 However Enoch Powell may have misphrased his speech, I agree wholeheartedly not only with his sentiment, but his apparent prescience as well. 2 Vlaam Belang is a seperatist party which attended the demonstration as invited participants. To my knowledge it is in no way anti-Semetic, so either you simply made that up and tossed it in there, or you know something I don't. The Islamisation it is fighting against, in this particular demonstration, IS, however a tad anti-Semetic. 3 "Racist agenda". If by that you mean they want to stop the Islamification of Belgium, kudos to them! I suspect you're just tossing that out there in the same ridiculous mudslinging as the rest of your post, though, so whatever... 4 Rue, you argue the same points against my alleged "racism" as your opponents argue against you in regard to Israel. Would you want hordes of Muslims to become citizens of Israel? I suspect not. Is that "racism?" Probably. Is it wrong? No. Your opinions seem so dissonant that they are beginning to lack credibility. Emotive, to be sure, but apparently you have two different standards: one for Israel and one for the rest of the world. A await another emotive mudslinging diatribe, unless you're nursing a hangover, of course.

Scientists Find A DNA Change That Accounts For White Skin
ScottSA replied to jennie's topic in The Rest of the World
That's the trouble with discussions like this...it takes about ten seconds before the mud starts slinging. To me it matters not one whit why or how skin got white, black, brown or a light shade of turquoise; what matters is that it seems to matter to everyone, whether they are the Klan or the Black Panthers or Han nationalists, or the worst offenders of all: lilly white liberals who treat it as the issue that dare not speak its name, but seem more preoccupied by it than anyone else. Even though they hide their preoccupation with it behind loud pious denials and self-flagellation. What matters is that race is the ultimate division among humans, the retreat of last resort, more deeply felt than ethnicity, culture, and even religion. And that is something that will increasingly concern caucasians as we become a minority in the west and subject to the hatreds and silly but learned envy of others. -
Alrighty then. Next?

In war, things get blown up. That's quite different from cultish Ottoman animals intentionally defacing everything in their path because some psychotic genocidal maniac told them God said to do it. -

The Abortion Debate in America - A New Ambivalence
ScottSA replied to maldon_road's topic in Moral & Ethical Issues
I'm fine with that too, depending on the definition of "child." What I gag at is the elevation and parading around of abortion as some sort of VIRTU. It's becoming more evident every day that we in the west will be looked back on by history as suicidal maniacs intent upon killing ourselves in the name of convenience. Or simply mass murderers on a scale that makes any previous genocide pale in comparison. Either way, flaunting abortion as a good unto itself is horrible. -

Borg, I think you're misinterpreting what Keng is saying. His point was that the Indians have a double standard: If a treaty is to their benefit, they consider it etched in stone, and if a treaty turns out not to have been to their benefit, they man the barracades at the "injustice" of it all. He's saying the Indians have a double standard, and he's absolutely right. -
This is completely uncalled for. I wish you'd stop trotting out the heroic "Jamaican" you "work shoulder to shoulder with" to show your bona fides with the kumbaya crowd. After about the tenth time, it wears thin. I have nevber ever suggested that I look down on "racial minorities"; nor that I think whites are better than anyone else.

The Abortion Debate in America - A New Ambivalence
ScottSA replied to maldon_road's topic in Moral & Ethical Issues
That's a standard marketing technique. Create or find a problem (eg "your underarms stink), posit it as a universal (everyone's underarms stink), pump up the problem (eg everyone's underarms stink so bad even flatulent dogs leave the room), and then solve the problem (eg buy XYZ and your underarms will smell like soft summer breeze for days, maybe weeks). According to the standard feminist pro-abortion song and dance, hordes of struggling and dispossessed women huddle against the cruel winds of patriarchy, suddenly find themselves imposed upon by pregnancy, a "condition" they bear no responsibility for, but which will put them starving in the gutter or curb Saturday night's party or some other tragedy of insurmountable horror; the only solution to which is to have it out, like a sore tooth. I have always held the position that I'm against abortion, but can't condemn it because I'll never stand in the shoes of a woman. Well, except for Halloween 1979...but we won't talk about that right now... But I find myself drawn closer to the pro-Life position all the time. There is really no excuse not to bring a child to full term in the west. No one is going to starve in the west. If a woman doesn't want the child, why not take 9 months to save a life? It's expected that a man take 18 years to pay for it, at the woman's whim, so why can't a woman be beholden to the same thing for 9 months? -
What would one expect to get in reply to this silly rant?

And there's plenty of war in the Bhagadvagita, but let's stay on topic. We were talking about Christianity, no? Again we drift into logical neverneverland, I see. Are you unable to make the distinction between "Islam" and "Muslims?" It's really not hard. Islam is a regressive death cult. As numerous well thought of scholars have shown, Islam is at its core simply deified thuggery. A "handful of western muslims" merely shows that not all Muslims are willing to go to jail for being good Muslims. "Deporting all Muslims" is an unachievable dream, albeit a lovely thought, but not because I think they're going to come at me with gnashing teeth - this generation at least - but because this is a Judeo-Christian society and I want to keep it that way. Yes, that's the standard reply, inevitably followed by reference to a numerology, or maps from one voyage, or some singular item that occured 100s of years ago. The very dearth of such episodes makes it rather quaint when you apologists trot them out. Btw, did you know "Arabic numerals are Hindu in origin? Please explain what Islam has to do with race? Although I'm certainly "racist" insofar as I want third world non-caucasian immigration stopped now. Not for all your little stereotypical streetcorner analyses, but for reasons I've explained very well here and elsewhere.

That is hilarious! It's amazing what folks can come up with given enough free time and beer! "Suddenly a telepathic message flashed telling us how he was tortured by a special squad. They were dressed in black with black hoods. They looked something like Darth Vader’s gang. They used all the old tactics like inserting large objects into his rectum which he expelled into their faces, knocking out one eye. They siced beasts on him to frighten, bite and anally rape him. These animals ended up trying to help him and even licked some of his wounds, which drove his tormenters nuts. They also tried to put a computer chip in his brain so they could track him. They were unsuccessful because his body rejected it. He did not have the necessary anti-rejection chemicals in his system. It fell on the floor and broke into a thousand pieces. Derogatory terms were constantly hurled at him, like “dirty red sand nigger and maggot”, “Wagon burner, “big papoose” and “chief”."

More guilty before proven innocent...
ScottSA replied to Chuck U. Farlie's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
Actually, no. Claiming something is an oversimplification is liberalese for "I'm about to try to snow you." It's an old trick that I first ran into with Reg Alcock in 93, in a debate that he answered every criticism with a blithe "it's more complicated than that." No it's not grannyrants. Talk about "suppressors of thought." -
Hundreds of rich pay no tax: Study ?
ScottSA replied to jennie's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
This is ridiculous drummed up hype. Even the author can't avoid including completely nullifying caveats hidden in the body of the article, like: "She also said business and investment losses can sometimes be high enough that no income tax need be paid even for high earners." This is totally irresponsible class bashing. I may pay no income tax this year either, even though I'll make more than most, but it has to do with a huge RSP allowance, and nothin at all to do with tax cheating. Mind you if I could withold beer money from "Native warriors," I'd cheat my face off.
