If Ontario starts to seriously manufacture batteries because it has the natural resources, are US companies going to be forced to turn those batteries down because they aren't made in the USA?

Trump's Protectionism didn't work, Biden's won't either. This policy will likely run afoul of the new Trade policy.

Canada should be diversifying their markets all of them, is it unfair that us companies want to protect jobs and work, no it is not, we do it all the time, think dairy and eggs the list is long...It is nice to trade with the US, but they are not the only market in town...we found out with aluminum when all those surplus should have been going to other nations...fot a much better and stable market.
